So far, my favorite city has appeared!

Hi~ I am Jiangnan Jun~ As someone who has lived in Hangzhou for 7 years, Shaoxing is a city I often visit. No matter the season, or whether it's sunny or snowy, I always find myself going to Shaoxing every now and then. To decompress, to heal, and to enjoy the slow pace of life, These are the reasons why I like Shaoxing. As a low-profile city in the south of the Yangtze River, Mr. Mu Xin once said, 'To see the bony south of the Yangtze, one should look at Shaoxing.' I want to sincerely recommend Shaoxing to everyone, But I also fear it becoming overcrowded. Regardless, I still want to share my beloved Shaoxing. ✅犭央犭茶 Lake (Pictures 1-3) Also known as Angsang Lake, built during the Ming dynasty as a wind-sheltering stone causeway for ancient towpaths, it has a beautiful legend and is now a less crowded and scenic spot for taking great photos. ✅Ancient Towpath (Pictures 4-5) Located next to the Light Textile City Avenue in Keqiao District, stretching from east to west for more than 40 kilometers, it was the route where ancient people towed boats, and nearly 1 kilometer of it is still well preserved today. ✅East Lake (Pictures 6-7) Famous for its clever combination of cliffs, caves, stone bridges, and lake surfaces, it is one of the three famous lakes in Zhejiang, known as 'the wonder within the lake.' ✅West Xiaolu (Pictures 8-9) It seems to be a Jiangnan water town forgotten by Shaoxing, with buildings densely packed as seen from Feiyi Building Mountain, resembling a real-life 'Hundred Views of Jiangnan.' ✅Hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy (Pictures 10-11) It is the hometown of Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy. I remember it being quite deserted a few years ago, but now it has become crowded, and some spots are hard to capture without people in the frame. ✅Lanting (Pictures 12-13) The 'flowing cups on the winding stream' described by Wang Xizhi is here, and the Goose Pond is also the inspiration for his 'Zhi' character. ✅Anchang Ancient Town (Pictures 14-15) Open for free, the number of visitors has been increasing in recent years, and I hope it can maintain its lively local atmosphere. ✅Bazi Bridge (Picture 16) An ancient water overpass, more significant historically than scenically, but the nearby Guangning Bridge Straight Street is very charming. ✅Fushan Park (Picture 17) You can visit the Shaoxing Museum and Yuewang Terrace at the foot of the mountain, and Fushan Straight Street is also a local street full of life. ✅Cangqiao Straight Street (Picture 18) Ancient residences built along the river, in the typical style of Jiangnan water towns, the street is full of Shaoxing's specialty snacks like stinky tofu, cream Xiaopan, and yellow wine popsicles. 👤I am Jiangnan Jun, traveling on the road~ A travel blogger & landscape photographer Sharing outdoor life | Travel tips | Photography spots There's more pictures and tips on my homepage, thank you for following.
