There are several methods to move around Luang Namtha, but renting a motorcycle is the best option if you want to explore the surrounding region. This allows you to go longer distances more quickly and visit local villages and towns such as Muang Nalae, Vieng Phouka, and Muang Sing on the outskirts of the city.
