On December 13, 2025, Beidahu Ski Resort, the largest ski resort in Asia, set a new record for its opening history with the surprise opening of Nanlou Avenue and Zhuiguang Road! Nanlou Avenue is opening for the first time in the second week of December, allowing skiers to experience the unique charm of Nanlou Mountain, the highest peak in Jilin City, 20 days earlier. BDH H18 Nanlou Avenue is 6,655 meters long, with an average slope of 14.5% and a maximum vertical drop of 870 meters. Even beginners can enjoy the thrill of skiing down from the 1,404.8-meter peak. The route passes through a sea of clouds and sparse tree ridges, accompanied by the snowy peaks of Motianling in the distance, offering endless scenic beauty. By bypassing steep slopes and passing through forests at higher altitudes, alpine rime frost appears almost daily, creating a variety of snow-covered landscapes that look like fluffy cotton candy, a unique sight in the Jilin area. Skiers can take the C lift, transfer to the D lift, and then to the B lift to reach the top of Nanlou Mountain to start skiing. Beginners are advised to smoothly ski down D13 Lightning Road and D15 Xiaoyao Avenue before trying Nanlou Avenue. The daytime lift operating hours are varied to meet different needs.
