Shanxi Changzi Cuifu Jun Temple

The main hall of Changzi Cuifu Jun Temple is located on East Street inside Changzi No.1 Middle School, Danzhu Town, Changzi County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province. It was built around the second year of the Northern Song Dynasty's Daguan era (1108). The temple faces south with its back to the north. Originally, the temple included a mountain gate, dance tower, offering pavilion, main hall, and sleeping palace, but now only the main hall remains. The main hall sits on a high platform, with five bays wide and four bays deep, featuring a single-eave Xieshan roof, barrel tile roofing, and glazed ridge tiles. Inside the hall, under the four purlins, there is an inscription recording repairs made in the 25th year of the Ming Jiajing era (1546). Most of the bracket sets and beam structures in the main hall are original Jin Dynasty components, preserving the architectural style of the Jin Dynasty and holding significant historical value. It is a nationally protected key cultural relic.
