#Almina Inn Hotel Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Breakfast at Almina Inn, Istanbul

Overall an OK hotel. Considering we were out and about all day and just came back to sleep and have breakfast, it wasn’t that bad.
Breakfast was diverse and you can choose from some hot dishes including eggs and sigara boregi, cold dishes including cheese, salamis and vegetables and lots of cereals. There were a few bread options including simits and a selection of cakes and cookies.
The receptionist was really nice and polite and on the last day we had a very nice chat whilst waiting for our taxi.

The check-in experience was really nice. We were greeted by the receptionist who provided a great customer service and explained all we needed to know about our stay. He was kind enough to provide a map and even showed us some points of interest. That was a nice touch. The reception is really small but I suppose being so central, space is an issue.

This is the first hotel we booked through Trip.com. We stood 3 nights in a different hotel in Istanbul and booked two nights in this hotel. Being in the Golden Horn area and close to the Grand Bazaar, we thought the location is convenient. And it is ... just we didn't account for the hills that we had to climb up and go down but it wasn't that bad.
If you have restricted mobility, then maybe this hotel is not ideal for you.
The room was a good size and we were happy with the room and the size of the bathroom.

Good location and close to the Grand Bazar. Near T1 Tram which takes you to the main attractions. The room was good size but our "view" was towards the restaurant where breakfast is served.
You get a natural alarm at around 7am in preparation for a breakfast at 8am. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good (not amazing).
Be aware that you need to walk 4-5 mins uphill, so get ready for a steep climb. On the way down it is much easier :)
