Great place to take kids in Thailand | Highly recommend Khao Kheow Open Zoo!
| Highly recommend Khao Kheow Open Zoo!. Khao Kheow Open Zoo
Ticket: Adults 150 baht, children 30 baht (my son is under two years old and doesn't need a ticket), private car 80 baht per vehicle
The park is divided into two areas, private cars are not allowed in the green area, highly recommend renting a golf cart, 550 baht for two hours, need to deposit ID card or driver's license, if not, you can also take the public tour bus, the time is not so free, the pink area can drive your own car, the park map can be seen in the last picture.
It is not recommended to bring too many things into the park, especially food, which is easy to be snatched by monkeys. We only brought water for the baby, tissues, sun umbrellas, small fans, there are shops everywhere in the park, very convenient, if you are thirsty or hungry, you can eat in the shop. The park opens at eight in the morning, it's best to go in the morning, it won't be too hot, because the whole park is like a forest park, there are many trees, it's very cool to drive a golf cart~ Especially if you want to watch the show, arrange the time, the show schedule is in the penultimate picture, you can go to see the penguin show at 10 o'clock first, then go to see the elephant swimming at 12:30, because the penguin house is at the beginning, the elephant house is at the end, so you don't have to walk the same way~ When you enter the park, you will first see the free-range deer, buy a bunch of grass for 30 baht, if the deer can't finish eating, you can bring it in to feed other herbivores. Fox Monkey Island is also before 11:30, otherwise you have to wait until 3:40 in the afternoon, the boat ride over is 50 baht for adults and 20 baht for children, buy food for 20 baht a portion, whoever holds the food, the fox monkey will climb on him, it's quite fun
We rented a golf cart to play in the green area, then switched to a private car to play in the pink area, the pink area includes Orangutan Mountain, marine animals, tiger and lion park and so on, we played from 10:30 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, the experience was really good, you can also feed giraffes, feed rhinos and so on, heard that Bangkok's Safariword has a lot of Indian tour groups, think about it a bit suffocating
Finally, I suggest that you go to the zoo after your baby can walk steadily, no need for a stroller, my son is 19 months old and ran all the way by himself, climbed up and down Orangutan Mountain by himself, came once when he was younger, didn't understand anything, carrying and pushing was really tiring
That's all I can think of for now, if you have any questions, you can ask in the comments section~
