Back to the old streets of Lianyungang again
While handling affairs in Lianyungang, my mind kept thinking about the old streets of Lianyungang. There, I can see the environment where I lived as a child, almost exactly the same.
When I was a child, we lived in a large copper mine built in 1956 under the direct administration of the Ministry of Metallurgy. The residential and office areas of the mine were built according to the mountain terrain. The old streets of Lianyungang are just as I remember them from my childhood. They truly exist and allow me to feel the happiness and every little detail of my childhood!
Walking through the alleys, residential areas, and slopes of the old street is a pleasant thing to do!
The doors of the Catholic church in the old street were open, and I finally saw the arrangement inside. European-style glass adds a lot of warm atmosphere to the church.
Next to the church, there is a coffee shop. I looked for a long time and couldn't find a door to enter! But there were people inside! I asked where the door was and was told to enter through the window! I thought it was a joke. But looking closely at the sign hanging on the door lock, it read: Please climb through the window!
Every visit to the old street brings new feelings, new gains, and new happiness!
Location: Old Street, Lianyun District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province
Transportation: Buses B3, B13, 31, 33, 34, etc.

Lianyungang | An Underrated Little Island in Jiangsu
Just came back from Lianyungang, and I didn't expect there to be such a niche and low-key seaside city in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area!

And there are super niche islands!
Here comes the two-day, one-night guide to Lianyungang! [Itinerary Recommendation.

:
European architecture, full of retro atmosphere, suitable for photography~ In addition, there is an old street snack street where you can eat while you stroll.

Self-driving tour in Lianyungang | Lianyun Old Street
|Lianyun Old Street. 🌟Highlights:
The special geographical features of the port, mountains and sea, and the stone street, as well as the marks of different historical stages left here, have formed this old street with certain natural characteristics and cultural accumulation. Not only is it the starting point of the eastern section of the Longhai Railway that traverses China, but it is also the location of an important port along the coast of China - Lianyungang.
Lianyun Old Street was originally a small fishing village at the foot of Yuntai Mountain, and people settled here more than a thousand years ago. Later, as the coastline of Lianyungang moved eastward, the ships of the original Dapu Port often ran aground, and the port was moved here, named 'Lianyun'. Later, the first characters from Lian Island to the north of the port and Yuntai Mountain to the south were combined to form the name 'Lianyungang'.
