Amsterdam’s Famous Red Light District
This is the famous red light district in Amsterdam! definitely a very interesting experience, and it’s lived up to its name.
this place is quite central, just about 1 stop or a 15 minutes walk away from Amsterdam central. Have to cross the canal to get to it. Once you are in, you will start seeing a lot of shops and different sights. it’s usually more happening at night than in the day.
This place is legal and with lots of rich history behind it. You can Google for its history and find out more! it’s not a very dangerous place, but be wary of pickpockets.
remember not to take any photos of the girls as it is illegal!

Amsterdam Red Light District
While I had a layover for my flights in Amsterdam and I had the night to explore a city and country I had never seen before, and to avoid getting a hotel, I decided to go see the famous red light district in Amsterdam.
It was quite interesting although I was very exhausted and carrying my heavy bag with me. I took some pictures of the neighborhood. A landmark that will soon disappear as the government decided to remove it. #amsterdam #redlightdistrict #netherlands #holland
