Several ancient archaeological sites are within walking distance near the Acropolis, including the Roman Agora (also known as the Roman Forum). This is included in the combination ticket for several archaeological sites in Athens, and can be visited within 5 days.
Be amazed by the remains of the ruins and columns which are still intact. It was originally built between 19 to 11 BC by the first Roman emperor Augustus as the city's marketplace.
