Apart from selecting top-quality ingredients,
even the plates are like landscape ink paintings.
Appetizers
Crispy Smoked Pomfret
I'm not a big fan of sweet flavors, but the crispiness of the pomfret combined with the secret light sweet sauce is a perfect fusion! As a full-score appetizer, you know this restaurant is the right choice.
Marinated Drunken Giant Prawns
How to describe this appetizer? The prawns marinated in wine for at least one night, paired with the restaurant's ambiance, couldn't be more appropriate.

Try the Buffet Breakfast at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai
Speaking of hotels that dominate Shanghai's skyline, the Grand Hyatt Shanghai is definitely among the top. Perched on the 88th floor at a height of over 400 meters, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of both sides of the Huangpu River from the clouds. Its iconic architectural style remains a classic legend to this day!
The abundant buffet breakfast offered at the restaurant on the 56th floor is also a highlight of the hotel. Wake up your taste buds in the morning with a mix of Chinese and Western delicacies! If you arrive early enough, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunrise, starting your day with a double enjoyment of sight and taste!
The dining time lasts from 6:30 to 10:30, and it's also suitable for a brunch. There's a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes.
You can start with a bowl of heartwarming noodle soup, which comes with a generous variety of toppings, over 10 kinds to be exact. Plump egg dumplings, bouncy fish balls, everyone's favorite crab sticks, fresh vegetables... You can choose according to your taste preferences and DIY a bowl of rich noodle soup. For those who prefer Western food, don't miss the cold cut station. Salami, mortadella, ham are all prepared for you. There are also various cheeses rich in protein and calcium, such as Emmental, Brie, Cheddar, along with solid sausages & crispy bacon, paired with a cup of aromatic coffee, which is a classic breakfast combination.
Waffles, pancakes, French toast, buttered toast, apple pie, muffins... The bread station is as complete as a professional bakery, dazzling to the eyes!
The buffet breakfast at the Grand Hyatt is consistently high-quality, so make sure you don't miss it.
Orange Hotel, recommended for those who are about to visit Shanghai!
The hotel is located near the entrance 1 of Daduhe Road Station on Shanghai Metro Line 13, about a 5-minute walk, making it very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel's theme corresponds with its name, offering orange fruit and orange-flavored drinks as a welcome in the lobby. The front desk is very proactive, and check-in is very swift! The hotel also has a gym and a self-service laundry room on the basement floor for free use!
Room cleanliness is a must! The facilities are also very complete, with a desk equipped with three universal sockets and a refrigerator, which is very convenient. The hotel also offers a rental service for items, with a wide variety of items available, and the daily necessities are also orange-scented! The cleaning staff change the trash bags and bedding every day to keep the room tidy!
The breakfast food is also plentiful, with fried, steamed items, staple fruits, Portuguese tarts, and pastries all available. Worth trying is the authentic noodles near the entrance, made to order, paired with freshly ground soy milk, to energize every day's itinerary!
However, one thing to note is that there are relatively few dining seats, only 30, so if you want to enjoy breakfast, remember to go down early!
In summary, Orange Hotel is very suitable for those visiting Shanghai, with a price of about $500/night, offering a very high comprehensive value for money. Recommended for those who are about to visit Shanghai!
The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan: A Well-Regarded Name in the Jing'an Business District, Synonymous with Elegance.
The hotel is located in the Jing'an business district, adjacent to various shopping centers such as Plaza 66 and CITIC Pacific, and is about a 5-minute walk from the bustling West Nanjing Road commercial street. It was founded by Colonel Astor - one of the most famous victims of the Titanic disaster. The design style ingeniously integrates British classical style with traditional Chinese elements, and is also referred to by some as the Gatsby style.
◾ The European style is perhaps most evident in the nooks and crannies of the lobby, where each crystal chandelier and vintage sofa exudes an old-money European flair. Behind the lobby, there's also an afternoon tea area with soaring ceilings and a view of the greenery outside, making it a great spot to rest in the midst of the city.
◾ Although it is a suite, the Caroline rooms all face south, offering views of the Jing'an cityscape, so the perspective is average. The bathroom facilities best reflect the European character, with a separate vanity table + oversized makeup mirror + makeup stool, very much fit for a princess. The configuration of double sinks + bathtub with a display screen is also very convenient.
Shanghai Yongfoo Elite: A Space of Attraction Combining Historical Culture and Modern Elements
Shanghai Yongfoo Elite is part of the multifunctional development project in Jing'an District's Dazhongli. The idea behind the interior design project is based on a combination of different forms of expression: the typical style characteristics of local craftsmanship's history and culture combined with contemporary elements, creating an attractive space balance. The internal living areas are refined and elegant, thanks to the clever use of contrast, style, materials, and colors.
The rooms are equipped with a combination of contemporary design elements, custom-made pieces, and modern reinterpretations of some traditional Asian furniture. A variety of accessories adds a homely feel to the space. Each room benefits from rich urban views, and the use of translucent partitions maintains a sense of space and light, enhanced by luminous elements such as backlit walls and glass screens in bathrooms.
The headboard and living area bench system become part of the architectural arrangement—the former attached to the walk-in closet wall, and the latter spanning wall to wall in the window area. Oriental-style bedside tables and modern-style table lamps add a warm touch to the room, while Chinese artworks add a local color.
Yongfoo Elite's breakfast adopts a rare full a la carte form (fruit, desserts, and juices are self-service), and the quality of the food far exceeds expectations, with the laksa rice noodles being particularly divine.

there are subway stations and bus stops nearby, making travel very convenient.
After arriving at the hotel, we received a warm and thoughtful reception,

Pudong Shangri-La Hotel: Ultimate Comfort Experience, Home Away from Home!
During a quick two-day business trip in Shanghai,
I stayed at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel and it provided me with an ultimate comfort experience.

made it easy for me to find my destination.

Shanghai W Hotel: The Top Choice for Premium Accommodation in the City Center, with a Great Stay Experience and Rich Facilities!
The experience of staying at the Shanghai W Hotel is impressive.
Firstly, the hotel's location is definitely one of its biggest advantages.
Located on the North Bund, it overlooks the hustle and bustle of Puxi and the modernity of Pudong,
and at night, you can enjoy the enchanting night view of the Bund, which is unforgettable. Next, the hotel's design style is very fashionable,
from the lobby to the guest rooms, there is an atmosphere of youthful vitality,
which gives one the feeling of a modern urban lifestyle.
The facilities in the guest rooms are also quite complete, with free high-speed WiFi,
coffee machines, and thoughtful services like snacks and drinks that make the stay more comfortable and convenient.
However, compared to other internationally renowned hotel brands,
Shanghai W Hotel still has room for improvement in some areas.
Firstly, in terms of service, although the check-in process is quick,
there is a lack of introduction to special services and facilities,
which makes it feel like there is a lack of personalized experience.
Secondly, in terms of price, compared to other hotels of the same caliber,
W Hotel's prices are slightly higher,
which may not be friendly to some tourists with limited budgets.
Overall, staying at the Shanghai W Hotel is a pleasant experience,
both the location and the fashionable design are commendable.
However, it is hoped that the hotel can improve in terms of service and price,
to provide a more comprehensive and approachable experience, attracting more guests to visit!

🔆 The cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of service are quite good.
🔆 The hotel provides family-friendly facilities, making it particularly suitable for families to stay.

▪️ The level of service at the hotel could be improved, especially in dealing with customer needs and issues.
Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone is a hotel suitable for families and Disneyland visitors. Its location, child-friendly facilities, and comfortable accommodation environment are its main advantages. However, there is still room for improvement in room size and service quality. Shanghai Accommodation Guide~ A Hotel with Great Value for Money.
This brand has many hotels in Shanghai, and this one is relatively new and modern, keeping up with the latest trends.
🚇Transportation: Close to Century Avenue Station, served by subway lines 2, 4, 6, 9, exit 12. It's about a seven to eight-minute walk, which is very convenient.
🤵🏻Service: There is a front desk for check-in, and you can request a room on a higher floor.
🏠Room: Double bed room HK$522.62/per night (original price)
The size is adequate, with two comfortable single beds, but the pillows are too soft; the equipment is complete, the best part is the TV can mirror your phone, so if you can open YouTube on your phone, you can watch it on the TV; although there is no bathtub, the water is hot enough, and the pressure is strong, finally allowing for a proper shower; there is a large glass window, the view is a typical cityscape, overall very satisfying.
