Exploring the Fourth World Woman Convention Memorial Park in Huairou, Beijing.
I had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Fourth World Woman Convention Memorial Park nestled along the serene banks of the Huai River in Huairou, Beijing. This unique park, with its captivating themes, proved to be an unforgettable experience.
As I strolled through the park, I couldn't help but marvel at the meticulously planned areas for senior fitness, women and children's relaxation, and even a vibrant children's activity square.
The park's core attractions resided within the Huai Water Wind and Lotus and Soft Water Washcloth zones. The Friendship Forest, relief walls, themed sculptures, showcased the remarkable historical journey of women worldwide. Among these, the graceful lotus leaves and intricately crafted sculptures stood out, captivating visitors with their beauty.
In conclusion, my visit to the Fourth World Woman Convention Memorial Park left an indelible mark on me. It was a journey through history, an immersion in natural beauty.
It's a must-visit destination for those seeking inspiration, enlightenment.

Yanqi lake day trip
We had a wonderful day trip to Yanqi lake. It took us less than 1.5 hours to drive there on a weekday. I have been wanting to go to the Sunrise Kempinski building for years as it looks so cool and I have seen it many times while driving past it. Finally I made it. It’s actually super nice to see it from the side that is pointing towards the lake. We enjoyed a buffet lunch at the Element restaurant of the second floor of the hotel. A variety of different foods to choose from. After spending some time at the hotel we rented bikes and did a bike tour around the area. Very professional bikes and the bike renters even provided us with two guides and a medical person as we came in a group of 30 people. After biking for about an hour or so we ended our trip at Yanqi hotel where we had dinner at the restaurant called lake palace. Amazing food and the hotel looks fantastic from what we saw of the views of the lake and amazing lobby area. Next time I would love to come here for an afternoon tea.

Beijing - Huairou
Beijing - Huairou district, Huairou reservoir.
There is a park right next to the reservoir and at night time it was ver beautiful over there. The Illumination is just amazing. The reservoir is getting completely frozen in winter ❄️🧊
It is like a very small version of the bund In Shanghai but with a lake and mountain view instead of river and skyscrapers 🏙️😄
it is also very beautiful in summer with the green trees all over…

Skiing at Beijing Huaibei Ski Resort
#skiadventure
Address: Huairou District, China, 101408
I miss skiing! I last skied at Beijing Huaibei International Ski Resort. The ski resort is about 1 hour drive from Beijing or 1.5 hour by bus 936 from metro Dongzhimen. There are 3 beginner trails, 3 intermediate trails and 1 advanced trail. The entrance fees range from RMB 58 to 208 per person inclusive of skiing equipment, depending on the days of of your visit. Skiing on Monday is the cheapest. There are additional charge if you take the ski lift to use the intermediate and advanced trails.

Yanqi resort 🏡
💁🏼♀️ If you are tired of crazy fast life of Beijing this place is a perfect choice.
📍 风车广场,Huairou district, Beijing city.
💰 I am not not sure about the price since I didn’t book.
🏃♀️ It also has a big field, you can take a walk or run or play. I saw children playing football.
🎢 No attractions nearby, no shops, very few restaurants. But it’s close to Yanqi river. You won’t be feeling bored but I think 2-3 days are enough. A well planned weekend is enough.

Sweet escape to the Lotus Thai Secret Resort
Located about an hour and a half from Beijing; you can drive or even get a taxi to take you there. Gas should cost about 300 excluding toll gates, taxi should cost around the same. Bookings can be made on trip and the manager is extremely helpful once you arrive. The resort has an eastern thai theme which was very aesthetically pleasing for me. There are many lounges and bars to relax in. There are little waterfalls and a stream can be found outside! There is also an outdoor restaurant. The food was good, I especially enjoyed the ribs. The hotel serves a simple English breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and I loved the bathroom! Activities in the area include horse riding and go-carting. The surrounding scenery and area around you truly makes it an amazing getaway. It was just what I needed to reset. #staycation #mountains #nature #getaway #beautifulhotel #beijing #huairou
