Plateau Rosa + 3480mt ON TOP OF THE ALPS
On top of the mountain
Plateau Rosa - Cervinia is one of the highest view points of the Alps.
The location could be reached by gondola from Cervinia down town, you can reach the top of the mountain both ways with ski or without.
From the cable car arrival terrace (in about 30 mins) you can admire the big four thousands up close, from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc, from Gran Paradiso to Monte Rosa to all the Swiss peaks of the Valais, before “turning back” with an eagle’s eye view (and you can actually see eagles from here!) in Italy to look at the unmistakable shape of Monviso, in Piedmont Once in Plateau Rosà, just a stone’s throw from the arrival station of the cable car (with the Shelter of the Guides where you can stop), it is also possible to reach the Grotta di Ghiaccio on foot (cable-car arrival point Small Matterhorn 3882 m).
A “compass rose” on the terrace indicates the most important mountains of the Aosta Valley and the canton of Valais (Switzerland).
With 3,899 m, it has the highest slope/ski slope or the highest ski lift/lift on the Matterhorn (Monte Cervino).
Cervinia Plateau Rose is simply one of the best spot of Alps.
When you are at 3500m of altitude and are lucky to get a sunny day, you can really touch heaven with your fingers!
Take a breath and enjoy such natural wonders!!!
All info about the cable car timetable and price are on the website Cervino Ski Paradise.

Italy the Land of Love & History
The perfect tourist destination, aka Italy!!
Truly my trip to Italy was one of a kind as it held a blend of history which comes in the form of ancient ruins that tell the tales of civilizations that strived to make a mark in the record of time, from the Roman Empire’s colosseum in Rome to the Duomo di Milano (The Catholic church in Milan) and you never get by without the atmosphere of love in Venezia’s gondola going through city of love.

A colossal architectural marvel
When thinking of Rome, the first thing that comes to mind is the colosseum. The colosseum is without a doubt the most iconic symbol of Rome. It has withstood destruction throughout history, whether natural or man-made. Now, an average of six million tourists visit the colosseum per year to pose, learn, and imagine the history of the colosseum come to life. The colosseum is the largest amphitheater in the world. It boasts 190 by 155 meters, or 620 by 513 feet. While most Roman architecture was influenced by the Greeks, the colosseum was truly unique. It was free standing instead of built into a hill like most amphitheaters from its time. The colosseum was constructed of travertine stones and instead of being held together with mortar, it was held together with iron clamps. The roof also had a retractable canvas overhang to protect viewers from the sun and rain. #trip #travel #Rome #culture #italy

Strolling around the Floating City
#europetrip #Venice #Italy
A day is enough to stroll around Venice, Italy, also known as “The Floating City”. Venice is famous for its canals, architecture, bridges and more. You will get to see plenty of gondolas through the city canals. Venetian gondola ride is popular to explore around in Venice, it is an expensive ride. Expenditure in Venice can be quite high, so if you are on a budget travel, I’ll recommend you to stay in the mainland and take bus to reach the floating city.
There are many islands around it, like the famous one Torcello, Burano and Murano. There are various of companies offers tour to these 3 islands. The price is competitive, you may check the price before you book for your tour. If you staying Venice for 2 or more days, I’ll recommend you to explore those islands.
National museum of archeological SIBARITIDE
Excellent museum
Here in the 7th century to B.C. the Archaeans founded a city destined to become one of the most powerful and prosperous in Magna Graecia. On this site over the centuries three cities were stratified: Sibari, Thuri, Copia.
The museum itinerary is divided into five rooms distributed on two levels, in which the significant finds from the excavations conducted in the Sibaritide are exhibited.
Has great multimedia rooms with videos and activities especially designed for children.
It is an amazing immersion in the Greek history and their attempt to create a democratic designed city in which cultural inclusivity was a priority.
Sibari was the most important and influential Greek city in the whole South of Italy at that time. Then they lost the war with Crotone. The museum is also a jewel, well done and with important pieces.
To me one of the best archeological museums in south of Italy

The most beautiful town in Cinque Terre
#winhkflight #manarola #cinqueterre #laspezia #Italy
Manarola is the most beautiful town, out of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre. Manarola is the most beautiful town because the houses over there are bright and colourful. Is picturesque. I would recommend to stay a night here to enjoy their local culture and their outdoor activities instead of the touch and go. Their outdoor activities include boat riding, sunbathing, swim at the harbour and cliff jumping. If you are dare enough, you definitely wanted to the cliff jumping. You should also enjoy their gelato and seafood.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to experience a different culture and enjoy their food.
Nice spot to enjoy sunset in Venice
#winhkflight #Sunset #Venice #Italy
Giardini Pubblici of Venice is the largest green space and a nice area to stroll and chill. The garden is wide and has benches, hackberries, trees and more. It is open for public and often will see the local run there. Outside the garden is well paved, easy to walk. I would recommend you to go in the evening and wait for sunset. Between the Giardini Pubblici and Riva dei Sette Martiri is the best place to enjoy sunset because is less crowded. It is definitely a nice place to chill.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to enjoy their sunset and views.

It is worth to visit Monterosso al Mare because of their stunning coastal scenery, colourful building and cultural heritage. The popular attractions in Monterosso includes old town, beaches, San Francisco church, Monterosso giant statue and local foods.
You should also visit other villages either by the Trenitalia regional trains or hiking along the coastal trails.
Prominent landmark in Florence, Italy

Giotto’s Bell Tower, also known as Giotto’s Campanile stands at a height of approximately 84 metres with ornate bell chambers and arched windows, located in the Piazza del Duomo. It is a prominent landmark in Florence, Italy.
You need to pay an entrance to climb the 414 steps to the top of Giotto’s Bell Tower. The stairs are quite narrow and it can be quite tiring but it definitely worth of climbing up as the top of Giotto’s Bell Tower, you able to enjoy the panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills. Is breathtaking.
If you don’t want to spend any money, you can stroll around and walk around the piazza for free and see the Giotto’s Bell Tower from outside.

Amarelli licorice factory since 1731
Beautiful experience
A museum rich of historical finds. As soon as you enter you can breathe history. Worth visiting at least once.
The Amarelli company is a perfect example of tradition traveling on the road to modernity. Having maintained the original entrepreneurial spirit has created a brand known everywhere. The museum is the maximum representation of the history of the company and the territory.
A history inside the history that finds its real and metaphorical origins in the wonderful Region of Calabria. A very interesting story, the Amarelli’s one, that started at the beginning of the XI century and continued during the centuries among crusades, literary commitment and agriculture in their large landed estates.
During the guided tour you can discover the secrets of the production process, the roots bales ready to be processed, modern facilities for the extraction, the old cookers which thicken the black liquorice paste and the bronze wire drawing machines, to create the different liquorice shapes.
They also have a shop inside the museum where you can buy all their deliciousnesses with honesty price.

The Smallest Country on Earth
San Marino is a micro-country completely surrounded by Italy but is independent from Italy. Nestled in the mountains of the Adriatic Sea a few hours south of Venice, it’s often overlooked by travelers. It’s the oldest country in the world and has incredible things to do (not to mention breathtaking views!).
1. One of the best things to do in San Marino is to enjoy the views! The towering walls of the town often have peeks into the countryside, giving you a chance to look wherever you are
2. The most popular public square in San Marino. There are a number of shops in the square and places to eat. The Palazzo Pubblico, San Marino’s town hall, and iconic building are also located here. You can even see the changing of the guard here.
3. There are three towers that overlook the city and the countryside. They’re at the top of Monte. Wear comfortable shoes as the roads are hilly and uneven.
It’s a 30-degree uphill walk, so be sure to enjoy the sights and visit the few shops that dot the way.
4. Guaita Tower is the oldest and grandest of the three. Built during the 11th century, it also packed a lot of history. To get to the top, there is a very steep “staircase” – which is more like a ladder. Good to know if you’re afraid of heights.
5. The Cesta Tower is on the highest peak of Monte Titano. There is a museum inside displaying an impressive collection of weapons. The weapons date back to medieval times and continue to the present day. This museum also showcases how San Marino stood through wars and cultural impacts and yet still maintained its independence. It’s interesting to see all of the history in this tiny country.
6. Get your passport stamped with the San Marino stamp.

💓Lake Como - The Jewel of Milan
#thingstodo
Spending a day in Argegno, a charming town by Lake Como, promises a blend of scenic beauty, Italian culture, and relaxation.
🏨 Where to Stay
Staying at Villa Belvedere is a perfect choice for its stunning views and comfort. I woke up to amazing view of Lake Como right out of the window of hotel.
A day in Argegno:
☕️ Breakfast at Café Motto- We chose to begin our day with a delicious breakfast at Café Motto, enjoying a cappuccino paired with freshly baked pastries or a light Italian breakfast amidst the café's cozy ambiance. 🥖
☀️ Explore Argegno's Historic Center-After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets of Argegno's historic center. Marvel at the quaint houses, the beautiful Church of Sant’Anna, and the Roman Bridge that adds to the town's ancient charm.
🍝 Lunch with a View-For lunch, we ate at a random restaurant at Argegno that offers a terrace with lake views. There were many restaurants there. Indulge in local specialties such as fresh fish from the lake, risotto, or a classic 🍕 refuel us to continue our journey.
🩵Relax by the Waterfront- we spent the late afternoon relaxing at one of Argegno’s lidos and enjoyed a gelato by the waterfront, soaking up the serene atmosphere of the lake.
🥣 Dinner in Argegno- We had our dinner at Hotel Argegno in house restaurant. After dinner, we took a leisurely walk along the lakefront promenade. The calm waters, illuminated by the soft lights from the town and the stars above, created a magical end to our day in Argegno.
🎇 LAST BUT NOT LEAST the highlight goes to the fireworks 🎆💫🧡🧨 We are so lucky to witness the firework at Bar Motta. The 2023 countdown fireworks were truly spectacular! Bright colors exploded in the night sky, marking the new year with a dazzling show. Lasting just the right amount of time, it was a perfect celebration to welcome 2023. Truly memorable!
2023 ended with a blast in Lake Como. I’ll always remember this day.

A piece of Pisa!
Pisa!
A lovely long weekend away visiting the leaning tower of Pisa! The monuments are all located amongst each other in a square. As soon as you walk into the square you are blown away by how beautiful the structures are. If you are in Italy, include this in your trip!
You can walk up to the top of the leaning tower of Pisa and the views are breathtaking!
There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants close by on the quiet streets around. Easily accessible as the ground is flat so no uphill walking needed! If you do climb the steps to the top of the tower, wear sensible shoes as the steps can get a little tricky! #pisa #leaningtowerofpisa #Italy
Rome - A romantic city
Rome is very pretty indeed with all the historical buildings well preserved although some significant buildings were destroyed in Ancient Rome. I visited Rome during weekdays in January, and it is still very crowded everywhere. Anyways, Trevi Fountain is much mightier than my expectation and crowded. It’s quite hard to get a nice picture without getting photobombed! Be sure to check out on your travel period to avoid crowds! I believe 2-3 days would be the optimum duration of staying in Rome.

Enchanting the Beauty of Vernazza
Nestled within the dramatic cliffs of the Italian Riviera, Vernazza emerges as a postcard-perfect village, capturing the hearts of those who venture into the enchanting realm of Cinque Terre. This coastal gem, one of the five villages that constitute Cinque Terre, invites travelers into a world of vibrant colors, historic charm, and unparalleled natural beauty.
Vernazza unfolds like a living canvas, its pastel-colored buildings cascading down the cliffs to meet the azure waters of the Ligurian Sea. The village's iconic harbor, a hub of activity, is adorned with boats bobbing gently in the Mediterranean breeze. The vibrant hues of the buildings, ranging from shades of pink and orange to ochre and yellow, create a kaleidoscopic panorama against the backdrop of the deep blue sea.
Vernazza's charm extends to its narrow alleyways and cozy piazzas, where visitors can meander through a labyrinth of streets adorned with blooming bougainvillea and vibrant storefronts. Quaint cafes and trattorias beckon travelers to savor local delights while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of this seaside village.

The heart beats of central of Milano 🥰
A historic favor with the modern surroundings of Milano Cathedral never makes us boring for every season.
The Milan cathedral is the third largest cathedral of the world. The architecture of its design was impressive. We climbed up till to the top, the detail construction of each platform and statues are wonderful.
Apart from that, roll around the luxurious shopping area, watching the city view from the nearest restaurant floor was an incredible experience.
