i12 Katong and go plant-based at KIND KONES!
#singapore
Address
112 East Coast Road, #02-25, Singapore 428802
Ambiance/Facilities
Situated right smack in the centre of level 2, the ice-cream parlour is conducive for a frozen snack and a hot cuppa.
Highlights
Everything is plant-based! If you like coconut milk, you will love their flavours, most of which have coconut milk as the base. We tried the best seller Blue Planet and the Pistachio Oat, both of which are yummy, but I personally prefer the latter because of the oat milk.
Avg. Price per Person
Just under $18 for a double scoop cup and a Long Black.
Rating
It’s a YES from me! Having said that, I will have to be in the mood for coconut milk since most of the flavours have that taste profile.

clean food, clean soul at Clean Café!
Clean Café by Soul Kitchen is one of the few restaurants here in our city that caters to the lifestyle of anybody who is vegan.
Their plant-based menu offers various options such as wraps, smoothies, smoothie bowls, pizza, pasta and everything else!
This is surely heaven for those who like to live clean!
PS my favorite is their Hula smoothie bowl! You should give it a try 👌🏻

Hejo Eatery, yet another Plant-Based Gem!
If you’ve followed my previous posts, you’ll know that I enjoy a good vegan foods. This restaurant is definitely on top of my list!
They have variety of foods, ranging from Indonesian to Korean/Japanese menus, pastries and cakes, also kombucha.
It’s close from Ciwalk mall, so not so difficult to find. Whether you’re a vegan, or just curious how Indonesian Plant-Based foods taste like, you’ll surely enjoy this place!

🌱Plant-Based Food Guide at Shanghai Disney!
It is no secret that I LOVE Disney, and going to Shanghai Disneyland has been one of my favorite thing to do. I eat plant-based diet (no meat, egg, milk, and other animal-product) and I am pleasantly surprise when I found new PB (plant-based) menus added to ALL restaurants inside the park. Only one menu per restaurant and not enough snack options apart from popcorn, but hey, at least I don’t need to pack my own food!
You can filter restaurants selection under “Dining” tab on SH Disney APP : Vegetarian Option, and all restaurants with PB option will appear. Some restaurants inside the park do put their PB menu on their menu printouts and on the APP, but some don’t. On the later case, just ask the friendly staff inside the restaurant for Veg Menu 素菜sùcài.
Photo details:
1. Veggie Burgee (The Cheesecake Factory) ¥108 -if you’re vegan, remember to ask to remove cheese
2. Avocado Toast (The Cheesecake Factory) ¥98
3-4. Plant Protein Balls with Dao Xiao Noodles (Tribak Table - Adventure Isle) ¥88
5. PB Protein Nugget with Garlic Soya Sauce and Rice (Tangled Tree Tavern - Fantasyland) ¥88
6. Omnipork Open Sandwich (Merlin’s Magic Recipe Kiosk - Fantasyland) ¥45
7. ZRou Minced PB Meat with Braised Mushroom and Rice (Pinocchio Village Kitchen - Fantasyland) ¥88
There are some others PB Menu I’ve tried, including the PB Protein Balls at Tomorrowland’s Stargazer Cafe, but I’ve lost the photos 🤣
My fave? Cheesecake Factory’s Foods (their fries are divine, too!), and the DaoXiao Noodles (it’s mildly spicy!).
Any other PB Foods you’ve tried apart from what I mentioned above?

Was rushing to start the day and came across this unassuming vegetarian restaurant. No fancy decor but got a very cozy and family feel once you step in.
They have a digital ordering system but since we are their first customer of the day, they came to our table to take our orders. As we are rushing, we ordered the Green Curry fried rice and Kelp fried rice which is quick and not so commonly available in other vegetarian eateries. Tried the satay and ngoh hiang too as they promise to rush out for us knowing that we need to move to our next appointment soon. Happy with their service. 👍🏻
The fried rice is fragrant with “wok hey” but we prefer the green curry version than the kelp one as it’s more flavourful. Satay is nice too. Quite near to the real thing. The ngoh hiang is a bit too crispy though but I’m not going to mark them down this time as they were rushing out our order at our request.
It’s a nice family-feel cozy restaurant/cafe and we can choose a nice table facing outside to chill, read and see the world go by with a nice vegetarian meal/snack when they are not crowded. Heard that the resto can get full house during mealtimes.
