Supertree Grove 🌴 Singapore
It was quite a phenomenal sight to see these huge Supertrees, which are apparently fully solar powered. You can enjoy lights and music in the evenings as you stroll through the grove.🤩
There are many parts to this park, including a children's park and a flower dome,🌸 in which you can view cherry blossoms this time of year-Spring.
The world's largest bronze sculpture can also be found in this park. It consists of 62 of the world's most endangered species and is 192m long. The sculpture hopes to help send the message that we need to live more sustainably and in harmony with nature once again❤️👏🏻

The Greenest Hotel 🥇🍃💚✨
Park royal on Pickering is the greenest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you take a glimpse of the hotel, you’ll see what I mean. It’s definitely one of a kind with its vertical gardens and has won several awards such as the World’s leading green city hotel at the World Travel awards. It’s also been voted Asia’s leading green hotel for six consecutive years! Additionally, the hotel is also certified BCA Green Mark Platinum, Singapore's highest green rating.
Since this is meant to be a luxury business hotel, the rooms are definitely designed and catered for mostly business travel. The breakfast spread is huge though! We managed to try out their Lime restaurant as well as the Pool bar which were amazing! The hotel also has a huge gym overlooking the pool (which I did not make use off!😂).
The infinity pool with the panoramic view is the icing on the cake and every Instagrammers dream! From the pool looking out, it truly feels like you’re enveloped in greenery. I’ve also managed to attend a few weddings at this venue and the food, service & hospitality has been wonderful.

A Garden “Green” Hotel Stay in the City!
Back to one of my favourite “Green” hotels, - Park Royal Marina Bay “PRMBS” courtesy of @trip.com_sg ‘s green campaign for us trip blazers creators 💚
Committed to Sustainability and Green practices to help our environment, PRMBS is also known as Singapore’s first “Garden-in-a-Hotel”
From removing plastic bottles to using glass bottles for in-room amenities to having filtered water, lots of carbon emissions are being reduced and the hotel educates guests by having an informative block on sustainability in each room too.
Apart from their sustainability practices, their rooms, swimming pool, in-room dining plus f&b available within the hotel plus breakfast options have always been a delight ever since my first stay after the reopening in 2021, and I can’t wait to be back again!
Never say never to good local nasi lemak and yummy kaya spread for breakfast buffet!
Plus, the service staff have been one of the warmest and nicest I have ever met and have been well-trained to deal with all sorts of situations (saying from my personal experience after I spilled my cereal bowl 😵💫)
10/10 experience for me!
Thank you Trip for the experience once again! 🤩 for best room rates, do explore the Trip app for more ❤️

Go green when you shop
Address - The Green Collective Store, Funan Shopping Centre, 107 North Bridge Road, #02-18, Singapore 179105
Nowadays, there are more and more shops like The Green Collective popping up that have a focus on procuring sustainable and natural items for sale. You can find many different independent green brands and their creations being sold here.
I really liked the handmade organic soap section, which had a wide range of soap scents and shapes. You can also buy other ethically sourced merchandise like clothes, snacks, tea and dish ware.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tong Chong Street Market (TCSM) is back.
Today I need to work outsides and back to Taikoo Place. So happy back to here, as here, have different kinds of creative f&b choices, that variety of coffee and tempting gourmet choices changing from time to time, you should come to try if you work at Taikoo Place / Quarry Bay
This market is very nice for you to enjoy a coffee break.

Trendy culture of sustainability
Address - Funan Shopping Centre, 107 North Bridge Road, Singapore 179105
Funan Shopping Centre used to be known as the IT mall where you would come to shop for all sorts of gadgets and technology! But now it has transformed into a trendy lifestyle mall with a strong emphasis on the sustainability culture!
The mall champions many green initiatives, such as providing bicycle lanes within the mall itself, as well as incorporating a rooftop garden for planting its own herbs and spices. It also translates in its design with the centrepiece of shops built in a super tree style, an architectural feat in itself!
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rabse Nunnery, Karola Glacier, Yumdroke Lake
The finale of my Tibet trip during the new year holiday in the year 2022 was with visits to Rabse Nunnery in Gyantse, Karola Glacier, and beautiful Yumdroke Lake.
As much as I enjoyed this beautiful nature, felt awfully sorry for the generations to come as there might be a little chance for them to enjoy what I enjoyed today with melting glaciers due to climate change. Being reminded again of the importance of #sustainabletravel.

Sustainably farmed burgers at CARNE Singapore
Address - 88 Amoy Street, Singapore 069907
Ambience/Facilities - The interior boasts an industrial interior theme with grey concrete walls and display racks that mimic construction scaffolding. Even with the bare walls and sparse furnishing, we surprisingly couldn’t hear the buzzing chatter that typifies a weekend cafe experience. It was as calm and serene as it could get. An interesting spot for a quirky hipster lunch or dinner date!
Highlights - This restaurant prides itself on using organic, natural and anti-cruelty ingredients and biodegradable ware. They’re known for their burgers, but you might want to give their sides a miss.
Avg. Price per Person - $20-$40
Rating - 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

SkyGreens Farm, The Future Sustainability
#singapore #sustainability #vegetable #farms #educational #ecofriendly #future #unique #limchukang
Singapore is not all about attractions and hotel stay! We are into sustainability too!
Head down to Lim Chu Kang where you can learn about about the future of farming due to Singapore scarcity of landspace where skygreens farm located at 200 Lim Chu Kang Lane 3 have introduced vertical farming.
You will learn about the vertical system, and how the automated water system and fertilisers are being grown and used. And everything runs at a very low cost thanks to also the fish waste for fertilisers. They also uses a hydraulic water driver system which activates a certain time.
This is definitely family friendly and educational foe the future of Singapore!
If you are also interested you can buy vegetables off the racks here, you will notice these vegetables are sold to our supermarkets like NTUC.
