The net casting point will be marked with the observation point). ➡️Take the bus on the highway to Dongjiang Dam (terminal stop) → Longjing Canyon (watch the waterfall) free of charge → take the bus back to the entrance of the scenic area after the end Summary: The attractions are really far apart, and most of the time there is a car rental pick-up point at the high-speed rail station, so if you rent a car, you really have to plan in advance; the hotel must be good, and the electric heating bed is really a great experience 👍 I wanted to see the rime, but it was sunny and Mangshan was really far away, so I didn't go to Mangshan. Yangtian Lake Prairie was not open, so I didn't go there either. So I will go to Chenzhou again.

Travel often brings unexpected encounters. I thought I had missed the misty Xiaodong River at 4:30 AM, but to my surprise, I saw it at 10 AM on a rainy day. Chenzhou is a beautiful city with many scenic spots. Besides the popular Gaoyiling, Xiaodong River Scenic Area is also a must-visit. To help visitors better enjoy the riverside scenery, the scenic area has several walking trails. The most classic route is from Station 3 to Station 4. Dongjiang Lake is a huge area with tons of things to see, do and explore. When entering you can buy tickets which include bus and boat and rafting tickets. The bus takes you past a dam and to the main area with restaurants and shops. You can then walk to some of the waterfalls and shorter paths. The boat from there takes you to the island after a 20 min cruise where you can do more walks or go into the huge limestone karst cave which you can see in my pictures is truly spectacular. There is an option of white water rafting on the other side of the lake which I didn't try. The cave was the biggest highlight for me, it was cool and damp and the paths lead you up and down and around the maze like cave for about a 20-30 minute walk. There are bats on the ceiling and huge limestone features everywhere lit up by multicoloured lights. It's like an alien world and something that no pictures do justice. The cave is very large and at the end of the path you can buy souvenirs. In dongjiang lake I would recommend trying some local small spicy fish snacks. #mountainview #staycation
