Pet friendly Hotels in Sichuan, China

I really wanted to give a good review, but after much hesitation, I decided to be honest. As soon as I entered the room, I found a slipper behind the door, which shows the cleaning wasn't very thorough. The wooden trim by the bed was broken (see picture), exposing a nail, and I scraped my calf when I walked past it. I told the front desk staff, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but they didn't show any concern for my injury. The wound got a bit inflamed, which inconvenienced my subsequent travel. I just hope they actually fix it so the next guest doesn't get hurt. The LED strip light by the bed had also fallen off. Overall, it feels like the hotel isn't very well-maintained, and the price of over 700 yuan per night doesn't quite match the service; it's a bit too high.

Our room in Kangding had a beautiful view. It was clean and spacious. The staff was very welcoming putting a lot of effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Besides they made great coffee! You can enjoy the coffee sitting on the terrace which has a beautiful view over the mountains. Especially the receptionist Bing invested so much effort to help us organize our trip and giving us an unforgettable evening. The location is also not far from the city center. You can reach it by walking. We would definitely visit again! ☺️

The room was spacious, with plenty of space to open up large suitcases. The first round of mini-bar drinks was complimentary, including two cans of Coke and a bottle of pickled vegetable juice. All the essential amenities were provided, and the bathrobe was quite plush. There are two shopping malls nearby, and it's about a ten-minute walk to Chunxi Road IFS. Downsides: I only realized this room type was windowless after looking at the escape map! While there was an artificial green landscape outside the 'window,' which initially looked nice, upon closer inspection, it was just a decorative 'window' in a windowless room. It offered no ventilation and no view of the outside, so you couldn't tell if it was sunny or raining. Also, given how large the shower room was, why did the door have to push outwards? If you put down a bathmat, it would get stuck. If you didn't, water would drip when you opened the door.

The location is good, making it convenient to go anywhere, and there's a snack street nearby. The shuttle service to and from the station is very convenient, but you need to contact them yourself. The reviews mentioned that someone would proactively contact you via WeChat before check-in, but I waited until 4:30 PM on the day of check-in and no one did, so I had to contact them myself. The lady who answered the phone said, 'How could we contact you? You need to contact us.' When I mentioned the reviews about being contacted in advance, she said they only contact you the day before. I told her I was checking in tomorrow, and she said her colleagues might not have had time yet. I'm not sure what the hotel's actual policy is. The young man with glasses at check-in was a big plus; he was very enthusiastic. The breakfast variety and quality were decent. There's a construction site outside the window, so there was digging noise in the morning and dog barking at night, but it was generally quiet at other times. The view was mostly of the hotel garden and mountains. The in-room facilities are a bit old, but considering the price, it's acceptable; you can't expect too much. Overall, it's a hotel with decent value for money in the Emei Mountain area, as there aren't many better options around.

Had a truly restful stay! This is hands down the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in during all my business trips over the years. The materials used here are far superior to many resort brands. I arrived during the latter half of the May Day holiday, and the front desk clerk upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite. The bedding was even more comfortable than Hilton's, perfectly balanced in terms of softness and firmness, and the bed was huge. The room was incredibly quiet, and the surrounding area felt upscale and safe, even when returning late at night. The guests were high-quality, mostly business travelers and international visitors. It truly lives up to Yanlord's reputation – the bathtub, shower, and attention to detail were excellent; even the lampshades were spotless. The entire suite was quiet, safe, and odorless, and it was convenient to get anywhere. Housekeeping was discreet, never disturbing me, so I could sleep in until the afternoon and still enjoy the quiet. This past week truly helped me recharge. I'm sad to leave and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu!

I specifically booked this hotel when I came to conquer Mount Emei, as it has a pool for soaking. After a long climb, a 30-minute soak was really great, very comfortable, and helped relieve fatigue. The environment here is nice, and I also visited Xianxia Yunji, which I felt was perfect for ancient Chinese costumes. The rooms are laid out in a 'U' shape, and it wasn't too crowded, which was good. I'd love to come back again if I get the chance. The service was excellent.

Ya'an is a new tourist city and the birthplace of the world's first giant panda. In Ya'an, you can not only enjoy the scenery and taste Ya'an tea..., but also hear the sound of a trip across the ocean in the headphones, and tears are rolling in my eyes... I chose Hilton Garden Inn on Ctrip and stayed in this hotel. I felt the best service from the front desk staff. What impressed me most was Miss Yang Lu and the two humorous front desk managers. When I checked in, I checked my needs with me, solved my needs and asked if I had any other needs. Every staff member is very enthusiastic. Give this team a call. The hotel is located in the new city, in the center of the Times Tianjie business district, in a prosperous area with convenient transportation. It is a good choice for tourists. The guest rooms are standard luxury, spacious and bright, the bathroom basin is clean, the faucet hardware has no water stains, and the toilet is equipped with a female guest bag and a disposable toilet cover for women. Very sanitary. When creating the basic lighting of the guest room, an embedded SDCM was made to ensure the uniformity of the lighting color and the high degree of restoration of the true color of the object. The warm yellow optical fiber is like the gentle sunlight in the afternoon, and the sense of happiness is overflowing! Parking is also relatively convenient and free. The guest room responded quickly. When I left the room, I needed something, and the guest room delivered it quickly. However, I was not in the room, and the room aunt was afraid of disturbing me and put it at the door. Thank you, the room aunt, every service is completed silently to avoid guests and guest rooms face to face. It is worth praising and did not affect my rest. I have a very shallow sleep. I am very satisfied with such hotel services. I have a home-like experience. The bedding is also comfortable and soft, clean and odorless. It truly standardizes the basic standards. At the same time, the hotel is also equipped with a swimming pool and a gym, which is a blessing for people who love sports. I didn’t go there because of time problems. I will come next time. Thanks to the receptionist who has been in the front office 24 hours a day, thank the night shift manager Tang and Xiao Wu, and thank every Hilton staff. I think Unparalleled service experience, with a high cost performance, good hotels are worth recommending.

I am very satisfied with this stay experience. The boss used to play antique literature, so the decoration style of the whole homestay is unique, very distinctive and charming. And the boss wife is very enthusiastic with the staff, prepared Rhodiola, oxygen cylinders, etc. in case we have any discomfort. Dinner and the young lady dance performance, the next day we took us to the forest to hike, and also fed the groundhog, very relaxed. I heard from the boss that I can see the horse deer, ride horses, etc. in the future, and I will definitely come again in the future!

Apologies, I promised the owner I'd leave a review sooner, but I completely forgot once I returned to Chengdu. The hotel is nestled deep within the Bifengxia scenic area, a high-end guesthouse that beautifully blends old structures with newly built sections. We stayed in the 'Fuyao Zhi' room (pictured in the second image), which I believe is part of the newer section and incredibly stylish. The large windows offer stunning views of distant mountains and another traditional residence. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, including various indoor activities (like calligraphy copying and tea ceremonies) and an outdoor forest activity space surrounded by tea gardens (featuring treehouses, trampolines, etc.). The front area also offers outdoor activities such as bonfires, barbecues, and karaoke. All the staff, especially the guy at the front desk in the burgundy sweater, were incredibly enthusiastic. The housekeeping was also meticulously done. The young man with glasses who handled our transfers to and from the Bifengxia scenic area was incredibly punctual. It's clear that both the staff and the owner put a tremendous amount of effort and passion into their guests and the guesthouse, which was the most impressive aspect for me. While the overall price point is on the higher side for Bifengxia, the experience was absolutely outstanding. I can honestly say that this stay elevated the joy and comfort of our entire Bifengxia trip.

The hotel is quite close to the Panda Base, and the public areas also incorporate adorable panda elements. The room facilities and cleanliness are excellent. The bed is on the softer side, making for a very comfortable sleep. The shower has good water pressure. Breakfast offers a good variety, including local Sichuan specialties.
