Location not too bad, however make a mistake of buying breakfast as they gave spaghetti for breakfast and due to that I have diarrhea as the food is not warm and spaghetti for breakfast is TOTAL no for me. Waste of money paying for breakfast hotel should think of changing the menus.
We booked this hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a birthday decoration in the room and even prepared a birthday cake, which was very attentive! The view from the hotel is also great—you can see the bay as well.
One small downside is that the toilet bow water pressure is quite low, so it needs to be flushed a few times to be completely clean. But overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.
Okay, it's cheap, but the location is actually quite far from Kampung Agong, even though it says it's only 11km on the booking. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes, almost 2 hours!
As a family of four, we wanted to stay together for convenience, so we booked a two-bedroom apartment in Block A. The room wasn't small, and the facilities were quite new. Since it was Chinese New Year, the hotel even had lion dance performances. Overall, it was very good and offered great value for money.
The hotel is quite good overall. The room is a bit small but still comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. The air conditioning works very well and cools down quickly, even though the weather in Penang is quite hot. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the old town. I personally enjoy walking, so it wasn’t an issue for me. In return, the area is very quiet and close to a local market with plenty of delicious and affordable food options.
This loft in the city center is relatively decent. It's perfectly located for all the attractions. The airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are two large shopping malls nearby. A big thank you to the staff for letting us check in early. The bed linen was soft and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Shampoo and shower gel were provided for free. There's a water cooler (hot/cold) on the floor. The fridge worked great, and there was also a kettle and toaster in the room.
As for the downsides: The cleanliness of the room was so-so – dusty, with a somewhat worn-out renovation, and some noticeable dirt stains in places. The shower only had lukewarm water. There were no face towels. One of the bath towels had a stain. There were ants running around near the fridge, seemingly knowing where the food was, so make sure to put all your food straight into the fridge. I left a biscuit on the table and ants swarmed it. There are no double-glazed windows, and since our room faced the street, we could hear passing cars perfectly. It's tolerable for a night or two, but not for any longer.
The room is very clean and well-maintained, making the stay comfortable and relaxing. The living room and bedroom are separated, which provides a great sense of space and privacy. Overall, the room is spacious and not cramped at all.
There is also an infinity pool with a beautiful view!
A good choice and highly recommended 👍
This hotel is perfectly situated between the city and the famous beach. Plenty of food options and shopping malls are right around the corner. Downstairs and in the immediate vicinity, there's a fantastic food court, numerous malls, cafes, and restaurants, offering a huge variety of choices. The food court even features vendors selling authentic local delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel, the scenery is beautiful. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee and savor life.
I'm not usually a fan of guesthouses, as I often find them not much cheaper than hotels, and lacking in infrastructure, security, and overall guest experience.
BUT! The moment I saw the photos of this place, I was instantly drawn in! I debated for a long time, wondering if guesthouses abroad were safe, and if a Chinese owner might try to scam fellow Chinese travelers!
I booked it two months in advance, and I've finally checked in today!
Everything is absolutely amazing! This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at. It's like a hidden paradise, the quilts even smell like fresh sunshine, and the owner is fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Penang's seaside. It's super great! They're running a giveaway, pick me, pick me!

GGuest UserFound this gem of a place by accident. With many hotels increasing rates during the festive season I managed to book a room here for a price I thought was way below the average for a 3 room unit.
Of course my expectations were not much BUT when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised - what I say a “bang for your buck” - it was near one of the busiest shopping complexes and close to highways which was a breeze until u hit town (obviously). My room even had a sea view.
It’s tucked away outside the busy streets and to me it gave me the extra quietness and calm I needed after a long drive. I hit the pool and tried the gym - not a big gym but “it’s all there”.
This is what I noticed : bus station and airport was in my opinion nearby (no more than a 20min grab ride)
In short you can’t fault this property for the price you’re paying. I will be back! Tq for making the stay memorable.
