Our stay at Marriott Perhentian exceeded every expectation once again. This was our third visit in less than 12 months, and each time the experience has been even better than the last. , with crystal-clear water, pristine beaches, multiple swimming pools and incredible views in every direction. The resort itself is beautifully designed, perfectly blending luxury with the natural beauty of the island. What truly makes this place exceptional is its people. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and genuinely cared for. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help at every opportunity made all the difference. Special thanks to Faizal and zafirah our host. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The food was consistently excellent, offering great variety and outstanding quality. With 3 restaurant to chose from, Sekoci for fine dining and day time pizzas and quick bites, Dapur for breakfast and dinner with wide selection of delicious local and international food. A special thank you to the entire Marriott Perhentian team for creating such memorable experiences. It is rare to find a place where every aspect of hospitality is delivered with such passion, consistency, and genuine care. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Marriott Perhentian to anyone looking for an exceptional island getaway. Returning three times in less than a year speaks for itself, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

On our first day, the coffee machine wasn't working, and the bed sheets had a few stains. We mentioned it to the staff, and they immediately came to fix the coffee machine and replace the sheets. The issue was handled quickly and professionally, which gave us confidence that they genuinely cared about their guests. Throughout our stay, everyone—including the hotel manager—was incredibly attentive. They regularly checked in to ask if everything was okay, whether we needed anything, and if we were enjoying the food. We always felt well looked after. Before arriving, we were a little worried because we had read some rather mixed reviews online, especially considering the price. However, our experience was completely different. The food was excellent, the facilities were well maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything—even assisting us in finding a nearby clinic when we needed one. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable throughout. We would happily recommend Peridot Resort to anyone visiting Redang Island.

I went here for a convention and I stayed for 2 days and 3 nights. The room is very spacious and clean. A big plus for me is that the rooms have no carpet. Affordable and fast room service. Easy checkin and checkout. The only con I see is that the rooms are not that soundproof. I also tried their gymnasium, they have a cable machine, free weights, elliptical, stationary bike and treadmill. Also, another con is if you like to do your laundry in a hotel, their laundry service is sooo expensive. They charge per clothing, not per kg. But nevertheless, staying here is value for money. Its walking distance from the airport (less than 1km). But if you want to explore the city center, this place is quite far from the center.

Always come back to perhentian island, you can experiance calm and glass like sea for your holiday. Coral view resort provides a very good location in perhentian island that have nice view and walking distance to snorkeling spot. The room was great with air conditioned , water heater and it's vry clean too. However, things to improve would be the service attitude of their reception and restaurant.

A solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Kuala Terengganu. While the hotel could benefit from some modern upgrades, the warm hospitality and strategic location make it worth considering.

My favorite part was definitely the beautiful view and the romantic ambiance at night truly unforgettable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful from check in until check out, which made the experience even better. Honestly, the photos online don’t fully capture how amazing and beautiful this chalet is in real life. So, how about PIR? Let's start with the pros. The sea view is unbeatable, and it has its own long stretch of beach. I'd say it's the second-best on Perhentian Island, right after Long Beach, and definitely better than the two beaches below the Marriott. I even saw sea turtles, sharks, Nemo, and schools of fish while snorkeling – very satisfying! There are also monkeys, squirrels, lizards, and other small animals behind the resort. The staff were very helpful, assisting with luggage from the jetty to the room and again at check-out, which was great. PIR also offers water taxi and island hopping tours, and the prices are quite reasonable. You can also walk to other restaurants for meals. A whole fish cost 80 MYR, which is much cheaper than the 200 MYR at the Marriott. Now for the cons. PIR's breakfast is absolutely terrible. Besides fried eggs, I really didn't know what to eat, though the watermelon was decent. Their regular meals are okay, similar in taste to Mama's. The soundproofing is definitely poor; you can hear conversations from the next room and even the sound of the waves. Also, the bed sheets weren't very clean. I'd recommend bringing your own bedding.

Pros- The location is good and the environment of the outside resort is also good.also the beach view is stunning.as well as their breakfast also not bad. Cons - their room situation is very very bad. Need to renovate. So old furniture and everything inside the room.feels like it will break now.Also smelly.The door even the bed everything is half broken already. Even it was rusting inside. So I will say it’s not worth it with the price we paid for one night in this room.  Suggestion- your resort is big also attractive. Please do some renovations so you can attract more guests also can give them a better experience thank you.

This was our second staycation here, and we had another enjoyable experience. During this visit, we were lucky enough to witness a turtle release, which made our stay even more memorable. The room was comfortable, there was plenty of parking available, and having a Chinese restaurant nearby was very convenient. Overall, it’s a great place for a relaxing family getaway, and we’d be happy to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and were truly impressed by the hospitality. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The resort offers a beautiful view and is the perfect place for a beach getaway. The breakfast was delicious, although the selection was somewhat limited. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant by the river, where the food was excellent. Special thanks to Chef Ann for recommending some delicious dishes. There was a minor issue with our room during the stay, but it was handled professionally and resolved promptly by the hotel team. We greatly appreciate the efforts of all the staff, especially Mr. Ong and Ms. Liza, for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the future.
