Been coming here for years. The lamb shank is still the reason. Braised so it falls right off the bone, and that gravy is rich without being heavy. It's the one thing I always order.

Been coming here for years with my pup. They always remember to bring him a water bowl and a little treat without me having to ask. It’s that kind of consistent, small gesture that keeps us coming back. Makes the whole outing easy.

Decent selection of local drafts here. Grabbed a pint after work, it was a bit pricier than I expected, but the beer itself was really nice. Good spot for a drink.

Garlic mushrooms are excellent. Steak pie is generous with the filling. Good value.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb curry is always spot on. Portions are huge, never disappoints.

Came here for my birthday dinner. The staff were so lovely, really made it feel special. They even brought out a little dessert with a candle on it. The vibe was just right for a celebration.

Lovely, spacious pub with a good selection of beers. The booths are really comfortable, which makes a big difference for a relaxed drink. I appreciated that the staff were friendly without being overbearing. A pleasant spot to unwind.

The portions are generous, and I appreciate the menu's variety. They have options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets, which is helpful. The ingredients in my salad tasted fresh, though the dressing was a bit heavy for my taste. Good value overall.

Been here a few times now. Staff are always on it, friendly without being overbearing. They remember little things, like how I take my coffee. Makes a difference.

Quick lunch spot. Salmon was good, fish fingers are a solid choice. Food comes out fast, which is what I need on a short break. A bit pricey for the portion, but gets the job done.

The fish fingers were a bit dry for my liking, a little overdone. The chips were okay. It's a simple, no-fuss kind of place, and the staff were really nice.

Tapas Tuesday is a solid deal, most plates at £2.75. The Caesar salad was crisp, and the langostinos had a nice bite. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for both. A decent find for a chain spot.

Stopped by for a late lunch. The sirloin was spot on, not chewy at all. Fish and chips were the highlight though – super fresh fish and a really light, flaky batter. Hit the spot.

Hollie was so on top of things. She remembered our drink order from earlier and checked in at just the right times. Service like that is a nice touch.

The steak pie was the highlight for me. The filling was packed with tender meat, and the pastry had a nice flaky texture. The veg on the side were cooked just right, not too soft. A really solid, comforting pub meal.

The Bistro offers an exceptional dining experience with a menu that features both creative dishes and classic favorites. The food is consistently delicious, making it one of my top choices in Ayr.

The paella was the highlight for me. You can see the chefs working in the open kitchen, which is a nice touch. The Portuguese waiter was really friendly too.

Really liked the vibe here, it's cosy but doesn't have that usual pub smell. The onion rings were the star though - perfectly crispy and not greasy at all.

The staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. Food was spot on, especially the lamb shank - fell right off the bone. Prices are fair, which is a nice surprise for the area.

Decent food and the app ordering is handy. Fed three adults and a child for just over £30, which is pretty good.

First time trying their Bakewell tart. Simple but really good. The pastry was flaky and the jam had a nice tartness. Prices are decent too, especially with the daily specials.

Looks small from outside but spacious inside, feels fresh and clean. The food came out quickly. I really liked the salad, the greens were crisp and the dressing was light. Portion was just right for lunch.

The burgers were great, and the loaded chips were a nice touch. The staff were really friendly, which made the whole vibe feel more relaxed and welcoming.

Lovely little pub, really welcoming. The staff were so nice and chatty, which made it feel like a proper local spot. Drinks were reasonably priced too.

The £3 Cruzcampo app deal is a solid shout. The DJ on Saturday night was a nice touch, kept the energy up without being too loud. Good for a casual pint.

Came here for a birthday with a big group of friends. The staff handled our table so well, never felt rushed even though we were chatting for ages. Made it really easy to just relax and catch up.
