The meat platter was spot on, cooked just right. But those desserts... the chocolate tart was something else. Honestly, could have just had that.

Been coming here for years. The food's always solid and the staff are genuinely nice. What keeps me coming back is their rotating selection of local ales – they always seem to have something interesting to try with the fish and chips. A proper pub.

Perfect for a quick bite with the dog. They brought water for him straight away. My burger was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Good to have a place that doesn't mind muddy paws.

Been coming here for years. It's a solid spot for a proper sit-down dinner in the evening. The steak is always reliable, cooked just right. Not a fan of the daytime laptop crowd, but the evening vibe is what keeps me coming back.

The cocktails are the star here. Had a perfect old fashioned, and the bartender knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for a classic not listed. Really solid drinks.

A good place for a casual bite. The food's decent and the daily specials are worth checking out. Their house wine was a pleasant surprise with the burger.

The £5 lunch deal is a steal. Mozzarella sticks were decent, but the Cajun chicken was the star. Paired it with a surprisingly good house white - really brought out the spices. Solid for the price.

Decent variety on the menu, including for vegetarians. The fish and chips were pretty good, crispy batter and decent portion. Tacos were fine too. A solid choice for a casual meal.
