A perfect warm location for a family get together. Menu choices were good and food delicious. Service quite prompt but it was a busy restaurant at the time. Had everything on the menu apart from honeypot desert that alot of guests would have had :-(However all enjoyed and not having the extra calorie intake was probably a good thing :-)We shall return hopefully in the future.

Service handled our large group perfectly, and their wine recommendations were spot on. Made the celebration a breeze.

Been coming here for years. The staff always makes you feel welcome, which is why we keep bringing the family.

Popped in while passing through Melton. Really liked the vibe here - big, airy pub, not too crowded. Staff were spot on when I asked about the ales. Prices felt fair for what you get. Decent spot for a casual pint.

Family platter for three of us. Everything cooked just right, the lamb especially. Nice and filling. Cosy spot out back.

The triple meat Sunday roast was spot on. The beef was tender, pork crackling crisp, and the chicken juicy. Gravy was rich, and the Yorkshire puddings were proper. Portions are generous, so come hungry. A solid Sunday feed.

Popped in on a whim. The outdoor patio was buzzing, perfect for a chilled evening. Music was just right, not too loud. Had the truffle fries to share, decent portion. A solid spot for a casual catch-up.

This place is a hidden gem for brunch lovers! The food was delicious, and the value for money is outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety offered.

Stumbled in by chance, loved the funky decor. Pizza and wings were solid, cocktails decent. All that for £20? Can't complain.

Been coming here for years, and the salad bar is the main reason. They switch it up every time - last week had a great beetroot and quinoa mix, this week some roasted peppers and feta. Keeps things interesting when you're a regular.

Popped in for a drink, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked too good to resist. Ended up getting the fish finger sandwich and the mac and cheese. The sandwich was spot on, really hit the spot. Mac and cheese was decent, maybe a bit too rich for me.

The paella here is the real deal. I loved the crispy socarrat at the bottom of the pan, and the prawns were spot-on. The space is cosy and gets lively, but the staff handled it all with a smile.

They handled our big group booking well, even with some last-minute changes over the phone. Food came out on time.

Stopped by after a travel mix-up, and the staff were so kind helping us sort it out. The pub felt really cozy and clean. Saw some amazing-looking fish and chips go by to another table – wish we'd had time to eat!

Had the beef Wellington. The pastry was flaky and buttery, the beef itself was cooked perfectly pink. The mushroom duxelles inside was a bit too salty for my taste, but the meat's flavour was spot on.

Decent spot for a quick business lunch. The mixed grill is a solid choice, generous portion and well-cooked. Burgers are reliable too. Good value for the price point. Service was efficient, got me in and out within the hour.

Such a nice spot for dog owners. They even have a little menu for your pup, which is a thoughtful touch.

The refurb is a big improvement, feels fresh now. Menu's got a decent range, even a gluten-free bit. Prices seem fair for what you get, portions looked alright from what I saw at other tables.

Been coming here for years, and the bar service is always spot on. Even when it's packed, they remember my usual and the food arrives quick. That's what keeps me coming back.

Welcoming staff. Had an issue with my steak being underdone, but the chef sorted it quickly. The replacement was spot on. Burger was solid too, thick and good quality.

Great food and efficient and pleasant service. We got the window seat we requested and had a lovely meal. I'd recommend this venue.

The beef was clearly high quality, and the generous portion of fresh vegetables was a nice touch. Good value for a Sunday lunch.

The cod goujon sandwich was really tasty, and the chips were piping hot. I liked the vibe here – the place has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Decent spot for a cheap pint. The space is huge, so even when it's packed you're not on top of each other. Grabbed some nachos to share – they were fine, nothing special, but hit the spot. Good for a casual weekend meet-up.

As a student, I really appreciate the reasonable prices here. The staff are lovely, and Benedict pours a great pint of Guinness. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that's perfect for a casual hangout.

Staff were very helpful with my dairy-free request. They knew the menu well and made good substitutions. Service was efficient, no long waits.

Love the vibe in here - the dark wood and cosy corners make it feel like a proper old pub. Came in for a quiet pint on a Tuesday afternoon and it was just the spot. Could happily sit for hours.

We never have a problem with the food. It is always that bit different, well cooked, and well presented. It is becoming one of our favourite places to eat.

The back garden is a proper sun trap. Had a pint there in January, and it was genuinely pleasant. Good spot for a quiet drink.

Nicola and George were so helpful when we needed to change our order last minute. They sorted it all out without any fuss, which was a relief. The whole thing felt very calm and easy.
