Only tried the restaurant, not the hotel. Menu looked promising and the setting is really nice, but the lamb came out overcooked and tough. Shame, because the rest was decent enough. Still had a pleasant evening, just wish they'd been more careful with the meat. Might give it another go sometime.

Lovely spot in Horst. You can tell they really care about the ingredients, everything tasted fresh. Staff knew their menu well and seemed genuinely into it.

The tomato soup and carpaccio were the standouts for me. Service was friendly, just a bit eager to take the bread board away while we were still nibbling.

Came here for dinner and the staff were really friendly. I had the schnitzel and it was solid, though the sauce was a bit heavy for my taste. Indoor seating gets cramped when it's busy, we were basically elbowing the next table. Still, food came out quick and I'd pop in again if I'm in the area.

worth to try, super delicious and tasty, nice atmosphere ...................................................................................

The Reibekuchen were properly crispy, not greasy at all. Really hit the spot. Wish there were a bit more on the plate though.

Been here a few times. The onion rings are the reason I keep coming back—still crispy, not greasy at all. Service stays friendly even when the place is full. That's something.

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the oysters were the highlight. Fresh, briny, exactly what I needed. Escargots were solid too. Main course was decent but the sea bass slightly overcooked on the edge. Place has a nice warm buzz to it though. Would come back just for those oysters.

Lively spot, no doubt. Fries were solid and the crowd made it fun. Just wish the portion felt a bit bigger for what you pay.

Stopped by for a late breakfast, got the blueberry pancakes. Fluffy, really good. Place is small and cozy but fills up fast. Staff were nice, no complaints there. Just wish it wasn't so cramped when it gets busy. Still, solid spot for a relaxed bite.

Dinner was solid. Sea bass cooked right, flaky. Friends had the picanha, juicy. The little note on the bill was a nice touch. Place looks cool inside.

Great spot for a proper doppio. The red velvet cake pairs surprisingly well with it, though I'd skip the house wine next time. Just don't count the calories.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the food was the highlight. Each dish had a clear idea behind it, you could tell they put thought into it. We did wait a bit for our drinks though, that was a small bummer. But the vibe was nice for hanging out, would come back to try more things. 😊

Stopped by for a beer and ended up staying way longer than planned. The list is massive, over 200 options, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. But the guy behind the bar knew his stuff and helped me pick something I actually liked. Didn't try the food, so can't say much about that. Just a solid spot for a drink if you're in the area.

Came here on a quiet Tuesday night. Had the ribeye and a glass of red—meat was cooked proper, not overdone. Wine pairing actually matched, which is rare for me to notice. Service was friendly, knew the menu well. Place was a bit empty but that suited me fine. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I'd go back.

Had the three course surprise share menu. The food was phenomenal. If we lived here, we would go back. Each course consists of five small (bites) entrees. Delicious.

Prices are fair for what you get, though coffee isn’t included with the breakfast buffet. That caught me off guard a bit. Still, the food was solid and I left full. Good spot if you’re grabbing brunch with friends and don’t mind paying extra for your caffeine fix. ☕️

The breakfast buffet was really good. Lots of options and everything was fresh. I especially liked that the room was quiet and not crowded, so I could enjoy my coffee in peace. The staff kept things tidy and were friendly when I asked for help. Just a solid, comfortable start to the day.

Food was decent, staff friendly enough. Nice spot to take your time with the menu without anyone hovering. Pretty good overall.

We did the tasting menu with wine pairing. Some plates were genuinely impressive, others just okay. The sommelier knew his stuff though, that part was fun. Place was a bit loud for my liking, but the food made up for it. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for around here. Would go back for a special occasion.

The garden seating really made it for me — quiet, green, felt a world away from the street. Four-course menu was solid, wine pairings worked well. Service friendly without hovering. Just a lovely evening.

The five-course surprise menu with wine pairing was solid—each pour matched the dishes well. Spanish-Asian-French mix kept things interesting. Staff handled my allergy questions without fuss. Maybe slightly pricey, but the pairing made it worth it.

The seating area is pretty comfortable, I’ll give them that. We sat by the window and it wasn’t too cramped, which is rare for this area. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the vibe made it easy to stay for a while. Just wish the music wasn’t so loud, kinda killed the relaxed mood.

The green toast was solid, avocado fresh but could’ve used a pinch more salt. Kids’ play corner kept my little ones busy while we finished our coffee. Cozy spot, nothing fancy but does the job.

Decent spot for dinner. Had the venison special—cooked properly, sauce was rich without being heavy. Ingredients tasted fresh, not the usual German heavy stuff. Service was fine, friendly enough, though we did wait a bit for the bill. Cozy room, not too loud. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area.

Drove out here after searching for unlimited prawns. Grilled ones were properly done, juicy and charred just right. Place was packed but service kept up fine. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Dropped by for a quick bite, ended up staying longer than planned. The pulled pork was properly tender, not dry at all. Croquettes were crispy on the outside, hot inside. Prices felt reasonable for the portion size. View from the terrace is a nice bonus if you grab a seat outside. Service was fine, nothing to complain about.

Nice wine list, and the staff actually knew how to pair things with our food. Cozy lighting inside, easy parking out back. Only wish they'd had a couple more options by the glass.

Stopped by for a drink and the bartender totally nailed what I like without me having to explain much. Friendly guy, easy to chat with. Ended up staying longer than planned and tried something I wouldn't normally pick. Prices are fair for the portion you get, so no complaints there. Solid spot if you're in the area.
