Decent selection of drinks, with a few ales on tap. The wine list was fine; we had a bottle of Pinot Noir which was pretty good. A solid choice for a casual drink.

The roast was lovely and hearty. Really liked how comfortable the seats were - made for a very relaxing Sunday.

The dining room has this lovely, worn-in feel. It's spacious but still cosy, like a proper local. The team remembered my name on my second visit, which was a nice touch.

Been going here for years, their Sunday roast is the real deal. The beef was spot on, loads of veg, and plenty of gravy. It's a proper feed for the price.

The Sunday roast was spot on! The Yorkshire pudding was huge, which I loved. Everything tasted fresh and the price felt fair. They also take the Blue Light card on Sundays, which is a nice touch.

Quick lunch spot. Staff were friendly and efficient. Got my order in and out fast. Perfect for a quick bite between meetings. Place is clean and tidy, which is a plus.

Perfect place to catch the game with friends! The staff were so on it even when it was rammed. We had to book a table weeks in advance, but it was worth it for the atmosphere.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The fish and chips really hit the spot. The batter was super light and crisp, and the fish inside was perfectly flaky and hot. Just what I needed after a long walk. The place itself is nice and clean.

Good spot for a quick lunch. Grabbed a burger and chips. Food came out fast, which is what I needed. The place is big and the seats are comfy. Good for a casual bite.

I really enjoyed the friendly service and the delicious food at this pub. It's a great spot to celebrate with friends and family, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay longer.

The Sunday roast was pretty good. We had the sharing lamb leg - decent portion for the price. The Belvedere room is a bright, pleasant spot for a relaxed lunch.

Love catching a game here. The energy is just right - buzzing but you can still hear your mates. Staff are on it, drinks kept coming without having to flag anyone down. Solid spot for a match.

Been coming here for years. It's got that proper pub feel, lively but you can still have a chat. Always end up staying for one more pint than I planned. Staff are spot on.

Came for the Thai side of the menu. The green curry had a really nice depth of flavour, proper kick to it. Pad thai was solid, noodles had good texture. The pub classics looked good on other tables too. Decent spot for a casual meal.

Lovely garden for a catch-up with friends in central Reading. Plenty of seating, which is a real plus.

The full English breakfast was pretty good, with decent quality ingredients. The vegetarian version is a nice option too. A solid choice for a weekend brunch, though it can get a bit busy.

Great spot for a quick bite. Food came out fast even though it was packed. Decent pub grub, good for a lunch break.

Walked in without a booking and they found us a table straight away. Our server Joeli was really patient with all our questions about the menu. The food was spot on and honestly, for the quality, the prices felt fair. Good portion sizes too.

Breakfast was solid, but dinner felt a bit pricey. Their wine list had some nice options for the evening menu, though.

The fish and chips portion is huge. The batter was spot-on crispy and the fish inside was cooked just right. A decent pot of mushy peas on the side. Washed it down with a crisp lager, a classic pairing that really hit the spot for a hearty lunch.

Ordering on the app was a breeze, really made the catch-up with friends smooth. The whole vibe is just right for a relaxed evening.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The outdoor garden is perfect on sunny days, and they've got heaters for when it cools down.

This place is a regular for me now. The staff are so friendly, and Jack in particular always remembers my usual order. The food is consistently tasty and the prices are very fair. A really comfortable spot to unwind.

First time trying a nut roast and it was a nice surprise. Really generous portion, cooked perfectly. The texture was spot on.

Lovely old building, feels very spacious. Just a heads up that getting a table for a bigger group at busy times might be a bit of a wait.

The food was excellent and service very good. We were seated next to a group of five who were swearing and being annoying. We discreetly asked to be moved and this was accommodated without fuss. Felt sorry for the waitress who had to continue serving such rude people.

Grabbed a quick bite here before my flight. It's super close to the airport hotels, which was a lifesaver. The burger was decent and didn't break the bank. Exactly what you need for a last-minute catch-up with friends before a trip.

The Sunday roast is a real treat. The dining room has a lovely, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to unwind.

The roast potatoes and carrots were really nice, tasted super fresh. Portions are definitely generous here. The whole place just has a really relaxed, comfortable vibe that I enjoyed.
