The Black Forest cherry cake was the highlight—easily the best I've had around Bad Krozingen. The retro 50s/60s decor fits the place nicely. Service was friendly too.

The vegan cakes here are really good, and the oat milk hot chocolate hit the spot. Wish they had more than one or two vegan lunch options though. Nice little spot to stop in for a break if you're nearby.

The hot chocolate and cinnamon rolls hit the spot on a cold afternoon. Upstairs seating is cozy enough, though it gets a bit noisy. Service was quick and friendly.

Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the terrace is the main reason I’d go back. Super chill vibe, not too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Beer list is solid too, we tried a few local ones. Service was friendly but a bit slow when it got busier. Still, perfect spot for a lazy catch-up 😊

Coffee's still great — smooth, rich, one of the better cups I've had in Freiburg. Barista knew what they were doing. No complaints.

The tiramisu shots were the highlight—sweet, creamy, and a solid way to end the meal. Paired one with my espresso and it worked nicely.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their salad—really fresh, you can tell it’s homemade. Place feels cozy, not too crowded. Staff was nice, didn’t rush me at all. Only thing, portion was a bit small for the price. But fine for a light bite.

Been coming here for a while now, and the coffee stays consistent. That's honestly the main thing for me. Interior's still clean, those wooden tables are a nice touch. Sat outside last time, weather was good. Just a solid spot for a quick break, nothing fancy.

Stopped by based on the reviews. Latte was solid—one of the better ones I've had lately. Staff were friendly, no fuss. Place was a bit busy but that's fine for a quick stop. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped by for a coffee and a crepe. Location right across from the market square is super handy. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. Crepe was decent, nothing crazy but hit the spot. Coffee came out quick. Place was a bit busy but we found a table fine. Fine for a casual stop if you're in the area.

Stopped here for lunch after a walk around the lake. The terrace view is really nice. I had the schnitzel, pretty hearty portion. But the Black Forest cake was the highlight—honestly the best one I tried during my whole trip. Wish I had room for a second slice.

The building used to be a bank, and you can kinda feel that in the high ceilings and heavy doors. Right off Marktplatz, so it’s easy to find. Gets pretty packed though, and the noise level goes up quick. Still, I liked the vibe enough to stay for another drink.

The flat white was solid. Proper temperature, decent crema, no burnt aftertaste. That's basically all I need from a coffee place. Kids were at the playground nearby, so I just grabbed a cup and sat outside. It did the job. Maybe not the most exciting beans in town, but consistent. Fine for what it is.

The pastries are around 3 euros, which feels fair for the city center. I also liked that they sell their coffee beans—nice touch for home brewing.

Service was a bit brisk but the staff handled it fine. The wine picks were solid, matched what we ordered well. Seats were comfy enough to linger a little longer.

Great spot right by the Stadttheater, always my go-to before a show. Even when the queue looks long, it moves fast. Consistent every time.

Came here with my laptop on a rainy afternoon. Cappuccino was solid, not too strong. Place was quiet enough to actually get stuff done. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciated. Could've used a bit more light near the window seats, but fine overall. Good spot if you just want to sit and read for a while.

The staff was really friendly and spoke English well, which made things easy. Sitting in that old building added a nice touch to breakfast.

The cappuccino here is consistently good—creamy, not too hot, just right. Service stays quick even when it’s busy. That’s why I keep coming back.

Solid sandwiches, gluten-free cake was a nice find. Terrace is small but fine. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked. Prices are okay for the area. Nothing fancy, just a decent spot for a quick bite.

The salmon and broccoli quiche was properly good—flaky crust, decent filling, and the side salad actually tasted fresh. Coffee’s freshly ground too, which I didn’t expect from a small place like this. Just wish the slice was a bit bigger for the price.

The chai latte here is seriously good—spiced just right, not too sweet. I grabbed a cardamom bun to go with it and that combo worked better than most wine pairings I've had lately. Place gets packed around midday, so go early if you want a seat. Coffee's solid too, but that chai's the reason I keep coming back.

The decor is really charming, with a focus on recycling and local artisan work. It creates a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The seats are quite cozy, which makes a big difference for a longer meal.

Stopped by for a coffee and a slice of cheesecake. The place has a nice vibe, really relaxed. Coffee was good, fresh juices looked popular too. Cheesecake was a bit dry for my taste, but I'd come back for the coffee alone. Service was friendly, no complaints there.

Great spot right by the station for coffee and cake. Black Forest was good, just a bit dry on top. Owner’s super friendly ☕️

The hot chocolate here is seriously good—thick, not too sweet, the kind you sip slowly. Coffee's solid too. It’s tucked inside the bookstore, so easy to walk past if you’re not looking. I almost did. Quiet little spot, nice for a solo break. Just wish they had more seating, but I’d still come back for that drink.

Been coming here for a while now, and the house-made lemonade is still the reason I stop by. Always fresh, not too sweet. Place has that laid-back local vibe, easy to just sit and chill. Service is fine, nothing fancy, but you don't need it here. Just a solid spot for a quiet afternoon.

Came here for a coffee on a nice morning, sat outside. They give you a small biscuit with your drink. It's a nice touch, but honestly, for the price of the coffee, I was hoping for something a bit more substantial. Just felt a bit light.

The hot chocolate was made with real dark chocolate, you could taste the quality. The barista prepared it so patiently, it felt like a little moment of calm. The place itself is very cozy, perfect for a quiet afternoon.

Stopped by for coffee and a slice of Black Forest cake. The place has that old-school charm, not trying to be trendy. Cake was solid, creamy and not too sweet. Service was friendly enough, though a bit slow when it got busy. Fine if you're not in a rush.
