The chicken tikka tandoori was decent, fries came out crispy. Cold beer hit the spot. Nothing fancy but fine for a quick bite.

The fresh juices here are really good, you can tell they use actual fruit. I had the mango one, it was perfect for the beach weather. Cocktails are fine too, though I wish they had more healthy snack options on the menu. 🌴

The pork vindaloo here hit the spot, and a chilled Kingfisher paired with it was just right. Rooms are basic but tidy. Decent spot if you're after a simple, affordable stay.

Anna is so sweet and always makes us feel at home. The aloo parathas were lovely. Our go-to spot in Candolim.

The playlist here is such a mix—old school stuff then suddenly a modern track. Volume was just right, could actually talk without shouting. Sat by the window, kinda nice to just chill and watch people walk by. Not a fancy spot but it's got that relaxed vibe. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Service was spot on — Jude remembered our drink order from last visit, which honestly never happens. We paired the grilled prawns with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, worked beautifully. Place got busy around 8 but we never felt rushed. Only hiccup: my second cocktail took a while to arrive. Still, solid spot for a relaxed dinner with decent pours.

The beef burger was juicy and the chips were properly crispy. Portion size felt decent for what you pay. Place gets busy so you might wait a bit, but it's a solid no-fuss meal.

Spent almost the whole day here, breakfast to evening snacks. Chai was fresh, salads decent. Happy hour between 4-5pm is where it's at—cocktails are priced well for what you get. Portion sizes are fair too, didn't feel shortchanged. Place gets a bit busy later but that's fine. Would come back for the chai alone honestly.

The lighting here is so warm and soft, honestly it just makes you want to stay longer. I came in tired and left feeling so much lighter. Food was decent, well-prepared, nothing fancy but comforting. Service was fine too. Just that whole calm vibe really did it for me. Wish it wasn't so far from where I live though.

The idli here was fresh and soft, sambar had that proper homely taste. Chutneys were on point too. Good spot for a quick breakfast if you're in the area.

The sunbeds right on the sand were so comfy, honestly could've stayed there all day. Staff were friendly without hovering around. Just a chill spot to relax.

Tried the kingfish rawa fry and Goan chilli chicken — both were solid. Fish was fresh, crispy outside. The chilli chicken had a nice kick. Owner seemed like a chill guy, made us feel comfortable. Finished with caramel pudding, sweet but not too heavy. Simple place, no fuss. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

The French-Bohemian vibe at Ashwem Beach is hard to beat. That Cardamom Crème Brûlée with espresso pairs beautifully with a late afternoon drink.

The owner still remembers my usual order after all these visits. That personal touch keeps me coming back. Rooms are clean, service is solid.

The beach seating with those colored lights reflecting on the waves was honestly the highlight. Sunset view from our table was stunning, no argument there. Food was just okay though - nothing memorable, and you're definitely paying for the location more than the cooking. If you want a pretty spot to chill with a drink, it works. Just don't come expecting great food.

The butter chicken was decent but honestly the portion felt small for what we paid. Fried rice was good though. Staff helped us eat quick before our train, that was nice. 🍛

Had beef chunks for breakfast, got syrniki after. Portion was decent for the price honestly. Place was busy but food came quick. Nothing fancy but it filled me up and that's what mattered. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The beachside seating here is really nice, and the live music keeps things lively without being too loud. I ordered the margherita pizza and spring rolls—both were decent, nothing fancy but satisfying. The staff were friendly and even sorted out the cover charge for us without any hassle. The fire show around 9 PM was a nice touch, worth staying for. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but overall a pleasant evening.

Second visit here. Saturday night was packed, so definitely book ahead. Staff knew the menu well and their suggestions were solid. Goan dishes had proper flavour, not toned down. The coconut crumbed fried ice cream is worth ordering. Service was quick despite the crowd. Good spot if you're in the area and want reliable food.

Fresh juices here are super cheap and the river view is a nice bonus 🍹 Perfect little spot to hang with friends.

Decent beach shack on a quieter stretch of North Goa. Butter garlic mushroom was pretty good, spring rolls fine too. Sunset view from the beach made it worth stopping by.

We tried the chocolate fondue this time and it was such a nice touch. The owner and his wife are super welcoming. Hookah was a fun addition too.

Came here for the fish fry and ended up staying way longer than planned. Sitting right on the beach with that view, hard to leave. Food was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot.
