Stopped by because the place looked busy. Got the daily special, pretty solid. Cozy inside, not fancy but comfortable. Bill was way lower than I expected for the portion size. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Came for a burger, ended up with the ribs in barbecue sauce. Meat was tender, sauce had a good kick. Filet was decent too, cooked right. Place is comfortable enough to sit in, so skip the takeaway. Service was fine, no complaints. Prices are fair for what you get.

Moved to a bigger spot on Dom Pedro II Avenue. Place is bright, airy, and they finally have a ramp for wheelchair access. That alone makes it easier to bring my father-in-law along. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the space alone is a big upgrade. Service kept up fine even with the place full.

The filet mignon in Madeira sauce was spot on. They messed up our order a bit but fixed it with a free dessert — that dulce de leche petit gâteau was the best part.

Big place, kids loved the playgrounds. Picanha was solid, salad bar had plenty of options. Bathroom was clean too, which never hurts.

The banoffee pie was spot on, and my V60 came out just right. Service is a bit hit or miss, but that pie keeps me coming back.

Nice spot to grab a quick bite. Food came out fast, no waiting around. Place has a chill vibe too. 👍

The trout special was really fresh, flaky, exactly what I needed that night. Staff kept checking in but not in an annoying way. The room has this soft lighting that makes everything feel calmer. Just wish the bread came warmer, but honestly the fish made up for it. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

Stopped by for lunch and the place has this cozy retro vibe that I liked. Menu had a good variety, took me a minute to decide. Service was on point, not pushy but always there when I needed something. Prices felt fair for what you get. Solid spot, would come back if I'm in the area again.

Tutu da Preta here is no joke. Big plate, easily feeds three people. I went with two friends and we still had leftovers. That bean paste is thick, seasoned just right, not too salty. Place feels like real Minas cooking, not some fancy version for tourists. Service was quick even though it was packed. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

The pizza here is really good. Crust was crispy, filling well balanced. I'm picky about ingredients and everything tasted fresh. Service was friendly too. Probably my favorite pizza place around now. Just wish they had more veggie topping options, but that's a small thing.

Stopped by for a quick bite and honestly the vegan Snickers cake caught me off guard. So good. Molasses bread was solid too. Coffee did the job, no complaints there. Place was a bit busy but the staff kept things moving. Fine spot if you need something fast and decent.

The hot chocolate with brandy was good, and the palha italiana too. Service was nice, no complaints there. But honestly, the portion of the palha felt a bit small for what they charge. I get it's a fancy place, but I left wanting a bit more for the price. Still, a decent stop if you're in the area.

Stopped here for a coffee break and tried the café mineiro. The dulce de leche was really good, not too sweet. My husband ordered the café caipira and kept talking about it the whole afternoon. Portion was decent for the price, which surprised me. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The Sublime appetizer is so good 😍 crispy outside, melty cheese inside, and that smoky guava sauce is everything. Definitely ordering it again when I come back with my friends.

The trout was cooked really well and the lagoon view is gorgeous. Service was friendly too, though nothing mind-blowing. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Solid spot for Minas Gerais food. Self-service had good variety, nothing fancy but consistent. Bathroom had mouthwash and floss, which was a nice touch. Fair for the price.

Stopped by for a quick bite and grabbed the pork sandwich. It’s big, messy, and honestly pretty tasty. The price felt fair for the size. I just wish the bread was a bit fresher, but for the area, it’s a solid option. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot.

Great spot right on the boardwalk. Staff were friendly and prices fair for the area. Got the grilled fish, pretty solid. Nothing fancy but I'd stop by again.

The sweet empanada with chocolate, pepper and bacon really caught me off guard — in a good way. You can see them making everything from scratch right in front of you, which I liked. Place is small and chairs are a bit hard, but I didn't mind much. Would go back for that one again.

We grabbed the half meal for three and honestly could’ve fed four. Portions are generous, food’s simple home-style cooking. Service was quick and friendly. Only thing—wish they had a better wine list to go with the hearty dishes. A bold red would’ve nailed it. Still, can’t complain for the price.

The cheese bread with pork was the best thing I ordered. Coffee menu is huge, lots of brewing methods and beans from everywhere. Staff took time to explain the difference between the extractions. Portion of the cheese bread is a bit small for the price though. I get that specialty coffee costs more, but I left wanting one more bite.

Came here on a whim and honestly liked it. Food took a bit but the presentation was really nice, flavors were on point too. Staff was friendly, didn’t rush us at all. Good spot if you wanna just chill and talk over dinner. Maybe not the fastest place but I’d go back.

Stopped by for a quick dinner last week. That pumpkin soup hit the spot on a cold night, no complaints there. The Estrada Real empanada was pretty good too, decent amount of filling. Owner was around and took care of us, which was nice. Place is small but comfortable. Only thing is it took a bit to get the food, but I wasn't in a hurry anyway.

The shredded dried beef and mushroom crepes were packed with flavor. That homemade herb butter on the side? Nice touch. Staff was friendly too.

Lentil burger was actually pretty good, not dry at all. Liked that they had curry seasoning on the fries, different from the usual salt. Place was busy but we got our food quick. Service was friendly enough. Only thing is the seating area gets a bit tight when it's full. Would go back for the burger though.

The okra and beans were spot on, really well cooked. Place has a calm vibe, staff friendly. Got a bit warm sitting near the stove though.
