The dome ceiling is stunning, really sets the place apart. Food was tasty, atmosphere lively. A solid spot in Edinburgh.

The service was exceptional, with staff being warm and attentive throughout our meal. The Croque Sando was a standout dish that I can't wait to have again!

Restaurant in InterContinental Hotels EDINBURGH THE GEORGE by IHG

Loved the vibe here for a catch-up with mates. So much space and natural light, felt really relaxed. The spritz was a bit average, and service wasn’t the quickest, but the food was tasty. Good spot for a long lunch.

Perfect for a quick bite. Prices are fair, and you can bring your own wine. Got my food in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus for a lunch break. Solid spot.

Lovely spot at Fort Kinnaird, easy parking. The restaurant is smart and the seating is really comfortable, which I appreciate. Had a relaxed lunch here, very easy and pleasant. Just a nice, straightforward place for a casual bite.

Staff were lovely even on a packed Saturday. They kept their cool, which was impressive given the rush. My main was a bit slow, but they checked in and were genuinely apologetic.

Oscar was so lovely! He gave us some great tips about the menu and even a few local spots to check out later. Really made our girls' night feel special. The service was just spot on.

The salad bar has a great selection of cheeses. It's not just a bowl of lettuce.

The Greek wine selection is solid. Tried a couple by the glass, they worked well with the grilled octopus. Good for a business dinner near the office.

Stumbled upon this spot and had a lovely lunch. The grilled sea bass was cooked perfectly. They were very welcoming to our dog, which made the whole visit so much easier.

Classic old-school pub feel, love the wood and stained glass. But honestly, the portion sizes for the main courses are a bit on the small side for the price. My fish and chips was tasty, but I was still a little peckish afterwards.

Lovely old-school pub, feels very Scottish. The Balmoral Chicken was spot on, really tasty. But the portion was a bit on the small side for the price, to be honest. Left me wanting just a little more.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a mate. The Thai soup was really warming and the panini was spot on. We ended up staying ages just chatting over decaf tea. It's that kind of relaxed place where you don't feel rushed out.

Been here for work events and dinners. The wine list has improved nicely, which really complements their food.

Dropped by late on a Monday. The duck and dumplings were really good, and they came out super quick.

Came for the Masu Bhat Tarkari Thali and it was spot on. The curry had so much flavour and the spice level was just right for me. Really enjoyed that.

The Guinness was spot on, honestly the best pint we had on the trip. The place itself is nice and relaxed, good for families. Just a heads up though, it's not the cheapest spot for a pint.

No. 16 of Bars in Edinburgh

Came for a quiet pint. The place is warm and the staff are really nice, made me feel comfortable straight away. Good spot to unwind after a long day. Prices are fair for the area, didn't feel like I was overpaying for a drink.

Stuart was so friendly, really made our lunch feel welcoming. Came back two days later just for that mac and cheese again, it's that good. Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with mates.

Mitch and Kamil were brilliant with our big group of 20. They kept everything moving smoothly, drinks topped up, and plates coming out without a wait. Really attentive service even when the place got packed.

The fish and chips are pretty good here, reliably decent. The Wednesday trivia night is a nice touch, makes for a relaxed evening out. The charcuterie board was fine, though the portions felt a touch small.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. The Lorne sausage roll is spot on, really hits the spot. Fresh orange juice is good too. Decent way to start the day.

This pub has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a pint and some traditional Scottish food. The haggis bonbons were a highlight of my visit!

Great spot for a quick pint. The beer selection is solid, and service is fast. Cozy pub vibe.

Great coffee, and the staff suggested a nice wine to go with it. Cozy spot, a bit pricier than the chains but worth it for the quality.

A solid Wetherspoons. It's definitely quieter than the other central ones, which I really appreciate. Had a pint here while waiting for the rain to stop. The space felt less chaotic, more relaxed.

Had a nice group dinner in their downstairs private room. The two-course meal was pretty good, and the staff were very helpful. The space felt a bit warm, but it was a fine evening overall.

Had the haggis, neeps and tatties. Solid version, one of the better ones I've had. Partner's whisky flight was a good selection. Reliable spot for straightforward Scottish food.

A solid spot for Latin American food in Edinburgh. The menu's got good variety, and the quality's been consistent on my lunch visits.

Great food and a welcoming atmosphere! The upstairs dining area is beautifully decorated, making it a lovely spot for a meal.
