Grabbed the lamb curry with rice on my lunch break. Really flavourful, and the portion was huge for the price. Perfect when you're in a rush.

Decent burger and fries for the price, away from the tourist crowds.

The staff here are always so lovely and attentive. They really make you feel welcome, and the service is quick without ever feeling rushed. It’s a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

I had the best boozy brunch experience! For just £25, we enjoyed 6 drinks and a delicious main course. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable.

The festive set menu was a nice surprise. The seabass was really good, and my friend who's into food loved it.

Been coming here for years and it's still so reliable. The tandoori chicken is always juicy, and the naan is just as good as I remember. A proper neighbourhood spot.

Ordered via the QR code while sitting outside. The staff were helpful and the food came out quickly. It was a pleasant lunch, though the outdoor seating area was a bit cramped.

The burgers are huge, and they've got solid chicken and veggie options too. What I really liked was how chill they were about my friend's nut allergy – made it easy for our whole group to relax and enjoy.

A decent traditional pub right in the tourist centre. The vibe is cosy, and their local stout was pretty good. I’d pop in again, maybe to catch the live music.

Nice chill spot for lunch. The ham and cheese panini was tasty, and the staff were really friendly.

Popped in for a quick drink and the staff really knew their stuff. Helped me pick a gin I'd never have chosen myself – turned out to be a winner. Nice, relaxed spot for it too.

Just popped in on a whim. The American theme was fun, and the staff were really nice. My partner’s wine was a hit. Food was solid. Might swing by again if I’m in the area.

The off-menu paratas were a nice surprise. The kitchen did a good job with them, and the staff were genuinely pleased to serve them. A solid choice if you're looking for something different.

The haggis, neeps and tatties were spot on. The haggis was rich and peppery, the neeps sweet and creamy. The tatties were buttery and smooth. That's a proper plate of food.

The ice cream is so creamy, especially the strawberry and vanilla. Just the right amount of flavour without being too sweet.

The Nduja here is seriously spicy, so go easy on it. The daily specials are decent though, always something fresh.

Tried the battered haggis on a friend's tip. It's a solid local choice, really flavourful. The place itself has a nice, relaxed vibe – big windows, comfy wooden chairs. Good spot to just unwind.

Grilled lamb chops and seekh kebabs were the highlight. The meat was incredibly juicy, cooked just right, not dry at all. That smoky flavour from the grill really comes through. Always seems fresh.

Salt and pepper chicken panini was my pick. Good portion, fresh ingredients. Got it to go, ready in under 5 minutes. Exactly what you need for a quick lunch.

Decent pub, staff were friendly. The mac and cheese was a solid choice - really liked the crispy breadcrumb topping. They had a movie playing on the screen in the back, which was a nice touch.

The bartender knew his stuff. I was a bit lost with the whisky menu, but he asked what I usually like and picked out a couple for me to taste. The £5 special was a nice surprise - a good way to dip your toe in.

Came on a Saturday. Packed, great energy. Music was loud but not overwhelming. Service stayed quick even when busy. Fun spot.

Popped in here to get away from the Royal Mile crowds. The fish and chips was massive, really hit the spot. The batter was crisp and the fish inside was proper flaky. Couldn't finish it all.

Been coming here for years, and that lamb dish is the reason. It’s always perfectly spiced, never overpowering. Just a really solid, flavourful plate. Keeps me coming back.

Stopped in for brunch. The eggs Benedict was pretty good, and the mushroom hash was a decent portion. Service was friendly, though it got a bit slow as the place filled up.

Disappointing hotel breakfast led me here. Haggis toastie was good, staff were friendly. Convenient location for a quick bite.
