Tandoori platter was solid for sharing. Lamb vindaloo had real heat, not that watered-down stuff. Good if you actually want spice. Portion felt fair for the price.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. Place is tucked away in a residential street, mostly locals which I liked. We shared a few dishes, all pretty solid. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside when it filled up. Fine for a casual catch-up though 👍

Came in about 20 minutes late for our reservation, staff didn't make a fuss about it. That alone was a plus. Had the pasta, pretty solid. Place is small, a bit cramped, but the food came out fast. Fine for a casual dinner if you're in the area. Not a destination spot, but it works.

Ordered the mixed platter for two - oxtail croquettes were the highlight. Portion size was right, food came out properly seasoned. Service was efficient, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The pork knuckle was the standout. Crispy skin, tender meat, proper mustard on the side. Didn't need anything else. Menu's short but that's fine when what they do works. Portion was generous for the price. Would've liked a bit more sauerkraut though.

Hands down the best Neapolitan-style pizza I've had in Germany. The crust is light and chewy, and the ingredients taste authentic. Cash only, but absolutely worth it.

The fresh pasta with pear and gorgonzola really stood out—such an unusual combo, but it worked beautifully. I ordered that and honestly didn’t need much else. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering, which I appreciated. Just a heads-up, the place gets a bit noisy when it fills up, but it didn’t ruin the meal. I’d come back for that pasta alone.

The burger had that soft, homemade-style bun—really hit the spot. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Solid pick if you just want something familiar and easy. Maybe not a destination spot, but it does the job.

Nice outdoor seating, big umbrellas, plenty of space between tables. Not too loud either, which is rare for a place like this. We stopped by after a walk and it was easy to relax. Only thing: parking is a bit of a hassle around there. Had to circle a few times before finding a spot.

Stopped by for a quick dinner. Burger was big, decent flavor. Staff handled the order in English without any hassle, which helped. Place has that casual neighborhood feel. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. Price was fair for what you got.

The terrace view over Lake Schluchsee is gorgeous. Sweet potato chips with truffle mayo were really good, though service got a bit slow once it filled up.

Lovely rustic-modern vibe with a fireplace – really cozy. The wine pairing was spot on, and honestly the price felt fair for what you get.

We stopped in after seeing the cathedral, and it was a decent pick. I had the lamb fillet, cooked just right, and the vegetarian penne had good flavor. Our waiter was friendly, cracked a few jokes that made things feel easy. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Maybe a bit busy around midday, but we didn't have to wait long.

The pork steak with Spätzle hit the spot — proper German comfort food. Fresh ingredients, no fuss. Would come back for that dish alone.

We keep coming back here because the menu shifts all the time. Last visit I had something with seasonal veggies that actually tasted like summer. Wine list is solid too, not overpriced. Only thing—it gets loud inside, so not the spot for a quiet talk. But the food makes up for it.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Summer bowl was fresh, looked nice on the plate. Staff spoke English, which helped. Menu's got enough options. Place was decent, nothing crazy. Fine if you're in the area and want something light.

Stopped by for coffee and cheesecake after wandering around the old town. The terrace view is really something, you can see half the city from up there. Cake was solid, not too sweet. Place was a bit busy but we found a spot eventually. Good pick if you're in the area and want a chill break. 🍰

The handwritten menu is a nice touch, kinda rare these days. Started with the burrata, really fresh. Tiramisu was the right call to finish, not too sweet. Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday but service kept up fine. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Second visit wasn't as strong as the first, but the staff kept things pleasant. That consistency counts for something.

The staff here are what I remember most. The owner actually came by our table, and the Brazilian waiter was super patient with all our questions. They handled a small request without any fuss. Felt genuinely looked after, not just rushed through. Place was busy but they kept it chill. Solid spot.

We came for dinner and they’d decorated the table with a little birthday setup—cake with sparklers and all. Didn’t expect that. The thali was a solid pick, got to try a bit of everything. Place was busy but we didn’t wait too long. Nice spot for a casual celebration. 🎂

Lucky to find this place open on a quiet evening. Food was solid, and the service felt real, not forced. Portions could be bigger for the price, but overall decent.

Tomato soup was the real standout — surprisingly rich. Wine list pairs well with most dishes, though prices lean a bit high. Comfortable spot for a low-key evening.

The vegan cakes here are really good, and the oat milk hot chocolate hit the spot. Wish they had more than one or two vegan lunch options though. Nice little spot to stop in for a break if you're nearby.

Food was solid, pasta cooked right. Tiramisu though, skip it. Tasted more like cream than coffee, not worth the calories. Stick to the main courses and you're fine. Service was quick enough for a busy evening. Fair price for what you get.

The business lunch here is a solid deal for the quality. Worth the drive from Basel, curious to try the terrace in summer.

Been coming here for years. Burgers are solid, staff actually remember you. Probably the best spot around for a quick bite.

The lighting in there is warm, almost dim, and the mix of Moroccan and Swiss touches actually works. I had the short ribs—tender, decent portion. Staff left us alone but were there when needed. Price felt okay for the quality. Just wish the music was a bit lower, but that's minor.

The river view alone makes this place worth considering, though you’ll pay for it. I had the grilled fish and a glass of something local—the wine list is short but decent, and the pairing worked well. Ingredients tasted fresh, no complaints there. Just don’t come expecting a bargain; it’s more of a treat-yourself spot. Service was fine, nothing fancy.
