The vegan cakes here are really good, and the oat milk hot chocolate hit the spot. Wish they had more than one or two vegan lunch options though. Nice little spot to stop in for a break if you're nearby.

Food was solid, pasta cooked right. Tiramisu though, skip it. Tasted more like cream than coffee, not worth the calories. Stick to the main courses and you're fine. Service was quick enough for a busy evening. Fair price for what you get.

The business lunch here is a solid deal for the quality. Worth the drive from Basel, curious to try the terrace in summer.

The rooftop terrace view over the Rhine is really something. I had the tagliatelle with local chanterelles—fresh and tasty. Just wish the seating had been a bit more comfortable.

Came here for a relaxed breakfast and honestly the coffee was the highlight. Quick service too, which I appreciated. They let you book online for just an hour, that's pretty handy if you're in a rush. Nice little spot, nothing fancy but it works.

Decent brunch spot. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt relaxed. Food was pretty good, nothing mind-blowing but fine for a lazy morning.

We stopped by on a Saturday night without a reservation—big mistake. Place was packed, but they squeezed us in after a short wait. The young staff handled the chaos well, honestly. Had the regional plate, ingredients tasted properly fresh. Only wish they'd told us the kitchen was running behind before we ordered. Took a while for the mains to arrive. Still, decent spot if you book ahead.

The terrace view over Lake Schluchsee is gorgeous. Sweet potato chips with truffle mayo were really good, though service got a bit slow once it filled up.

The pork steak with Spätzle hit the spot — proper German comfort food. Fresh ingredients, no fuss. Would come back for that dish alone.

Stopped by for coffee and cheesecake after wandering around the old town. The terrace view is really something, you can see half the city from up there. Cake was solid, not too sweet. Place was a bit busy but we found a spot eventually. Good pick if you're in the area and want a chill break. 🍰

A 10 is a little high, as it is also a bit expensive, but the food was good, the portions were generous, the service was attentive, even if I think it took about an hour from ordering until we received the mains, but there were no mistakes and it was easy to get the server's attention, and the atmosphere was nice. 2 in our group had the ribs, which were really tender. We also had a steak, duck and a hamburger and all were very good. There was no room for dessert!

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. Place is tucked away in a residential street, mostly locals which I liked. We shared a few dishes, all pretty solid. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside when it filled up. Fine for a casual catch-up though 👍

Ordered the mixed platter for two - oxtail croquettes were the highlight. Portion size was right, food came out properly seasoned. Service was efficient, no complaints. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Food came out fast even with our big group, which surprised me. The grilled fish was fresh, nicely seasoned. Service kept things moving without hovering. Solid spot if you're feeding a crowd.

Solid yufka, well stuffed. Price is normal for the area. Good spot if you're in a hurry.

Coffee's still great — smooth, rich, one of the better cups I've had in Freiburg. Barista knew what they were doing. No complaints.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed their salad—really fresh, you can tell it’s homemade. Place feels cozy, not too crowded. Staff was nice, didn’t rush me at all. Only thing, portion was a bit small for the price. But fine for a light bite.

Been coming here for a while now, and the coffee stays consistent. That's honestly the main thing for me. Interior's still clean, those wooden tables are a nice touch. Sat outside last time, weather was good. Just a solid spot for a quick break, nothing fancy.

The hot stone thing is a nice touch — wild boar and lamb cooked right at the table. Staff were friendly, not hovering. Just a solid, relaxed dinner.

The garden terrace really is the spot when the weather cooperates—plenty of room and you can actually hear yourself think. Service lagged a bit on a busy Saturday, though the staff stayed cheerful about it. I had the spring rolls, which were solid but honestly a touch small for what they charge. A crisp white would've paired nicely with them, but their wine list is decent enough. I'd come back for the terrace alone.

The Black Forest cake was decent, not the best I've had, but the portion is huge. Honestly, one slice is enough for two people. Coffee was good too. Sat by the window with the cathedral view, that part was nice. Just wish the cake had a bit more flavor for the price. It's fine for a one-time visit though.

The terrace view really makes breakfast special. Shakshuka was fresh and flavorful, pancakes light. Croissant came out a bit dry, but I'd still sit outside again for the scenery.

The pasta was really good — fresh and cooked just right. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but I'd still come back for that dish.

Service was really friendly and the food hit the spot without breaking the bank. I went with a couple of friends on a weekday evening, and we ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting. Place had a relaxed vibe, felt super comfortable. Only thing is it got a bit noisy later, but honestly didn't bother us much.

We stopped by for dinner on a rainy evening. The dining room is really cozy, that warm country inn feel. I had the roasted vegetable plate, just wished there were a bit more greens on it. Ingredients tasted fresh, simple and clean. Prices are fair for the quality. Staff let us take our time, no rush at all. 🌿

Nice relaxed spot with good beer and a solid döner for the price. Got busy, so we waited a bit—but worth it. 🍺

The cordon bleu with Black Forest ham and Münsterthal cheese was really good. Crunchy outside, cheese still melting inside. Service was friendly too. Prices are a bit steep for what you get, but I'd say it's fine for a proper sit-down meal. Nothing fancy, just solid cooking.

The outdoor playground is what sold me. Kids could run around while we actually finished our meal in peace. Staff were nice, checked on us a few times. Food was decent, nothing crazy but solid. Prices feel a bit steep for what you get though. Still, that playground makes it worth it.
