The croissants are baked fresh every morning, you can smell it from the street. Got one with my latte and it was still warm, perfect flaky layers. A bit pricier than the chain down the block, but you can taste the difference. That&rsquo;s what I come for.

The coffee was good.  The fresh squeezed orange juice was good.  The smoked salmon was also good.  The waitress was busy washing dishes much of the time.  The food was pretty bad.  The bagels were not fresh and strangely, about one third of both my bagel and that of my husband were hard as rock.  we hoped for a nice suite to accompany our coffee after our sandwich. The carrot cake was OK but the banana bread had not been fully cooked and the batter was still wet inside the middle. It was revolting.

The Bollo de Lech&eacute; was a nice treat. The place gets pretty crowded though, so grab a seat early if you can.
