Restaurant in Guanghan Minshan Jingyun Hotel

A very well-known and centrally located restaurant. An experience that we wanted to enjoy during our stay in Chengdu. We took a ticket for a table for two at 5:21 p.m., we entered the restaurant at 7:40 p.m. A lot of people want to eat at this restaurant and a group of people forms at the entrance which makes it a bit difficult to enter or ask for information at reception. They speak English which is appreciated to facilitate communication. The restaurant's menus are cool and easy to understand, perhaps some space would be missing to explain what each dish has with additional information. The number of dishes is not limited, they have options for all tastes. The tables located right at the facade have chargers for mobile phones and at the entrance they also have a service to lend portable chargers. I have mixed feelings about the food. It was one of the first times I could enjoy a restaurant recognized with a Michelin Star and my expectations were high. To summarize, we can say that the food is good but for people like me who don't eat meat, it falls short and is not enough. The best dish was the duck that my companion ate and a green potato puree with mayonnaise. The macerated turnip with spicy sauce also stands out. The rest of the dishes that I show in the attached photos have nothing, in my opinion, that stands out. They lack forcefulness, simple taste and nothing to remember. The seasonal vegetables remain what they are, boiled vegetables without more. A shame. But for the price offered, the area and the atmosphere, I can say that it was a good experience. The only thing to improve is the collection of dishes by the waiters, we ordered a total of 16 different dishes, at the end of the service more than 8 of them accumulated, making it difficult to find the available table space. In short, a good experience, the puree was delicious and the place was full to overflowing.
