Came for the seafood, left happy. The grilled fish was fresh, nicely charred, not overcooked. View of the sea from the table is a big plus. Service was friendly, no complaints there. Prices are a bit on the higher side for the area, but you pay for the location. Solid choice if you're nearby.

The tarte flambée was fresh, and that penne Bolognese with arugula in the sauce? Probably the best I've had. Simple touch, but it worked.

The pizza was decent, actually well-made and the crust had a nice chew. But I gotta say, the lasagna felt overpriced for what you got. Portion was on the smaller side, which was a bit of a letdown. Place itself has a nice vibe, but I'd probably just stick to the pizza next time.

The appetizer open bar with meat carved right off the skewer was the highlight for me. Got a bit loud inside, but the food made up for it. Would come back for that alone.

Lovely little tapas place in Kiel. The bacon-wrapped dates were tasty and the prawns were fresh. Small plates let you try a few things without overdoing it. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Decent Asian spot in Kiel. I had the curry and it was pretty good, flavors were there. Service was friendly, no complaints. Place was quiet enough for a weekday dinner. Not mind-blowing, but it's become my regular go-to when I crave this kind of food. Fair price for what you get.

The Diavolo pizza had a proper kick to it, not one of those weak spice levels. Portion was solid for the money, honestly fair for what you get. Good spot to hit up with a few friends when you want something easy and not too pricey. Just don’t come starving if you’re picky about toppings. 😄

Lucky to grab a table without booking—place fills up fast. Had the schnitzel, really solid. Service was friendly, kept it simple. Would come back.

Lamb chops were underseasoned and cooked on a griddle, not grilled. Slightly disappointing. But the meal was decent, and the price fits the prime location.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Got the schnitzel, came out fast and hot. Open kitchen is a nice touch. Solid if you're in a hurry.

Decent place for a proper meal. Portions are generous, meat was cooked right. Service friendly enough, even though the place was packed. Got in without a reservation, which was a plus. Not the quietest spot, but that's expected. Fair for what you pay. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Been coming here for a while now, and the pasta stays consistently good. Tried the wild garlic pasta with pesto and crayfish off the specials board last time – fresh, plenty of it, and the flavors worked. Staff were friendly too, didn't rush us. Price is fair for what you get. Still my go-to spot for pasta in the area.

The terrace view over the lake is the main reason to come here. Food was fresh, decent flavors. Portions ran a bit small for what you pay, but sitting by the water makes up for it. Had a quick lunch there, nothing fancy. Fine if you're already in the area.

The schnitzel was really good—freshly made and the mushroom sauce on the side was a nice touch. Fried potatoes were simple but tasty. Service was friendly, and I didn’t have to wait long for anything. Just the kind of place where you can sit back and enjoy your meal without overthinking it.

We had the plaice and the fried herring. Both were cooked well, nice and flaky. The view over the Schlei is really something, you can watch the boats while you eat. Only thing is the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. I get that it's fresh fish, but I was still a little hungry when we left. Fine for a nice lunch, just don't expect to be stuffed.

The venison carpaccio was the standout — really tender and well-seasoned. Braised ox cheeks were solid too. Lemon sorbet cleaned things up nicely. Service friendly, though the place got a bit loud later.

The homemade tortelloni was solid, and that warm bread with aioli—honestly, I could’ve just ordered another round of that and been happy. Paired it with a glass of something light and it worked nicely. Service was quick, no complaints there. Place had a good hum to it, not too loud. Wouldn’t mind going back for a longer dinner next time.

Lovely spot right on the harbor—the view of the Schlei is really nice. Coffee and cake were good, staff friendly. Only thing: seating felt a bit cramped.

Food was solid and the beer list had some nice picks. Service lagged a bit, but the terrace made up for it. Prices felt a touch high for the portions though.

We had a big group of 26 and honestly, the service kept up surprisingly well. Food came out looking good and there was plenty of it. That’s usually where these big dinners fall apart, but they managed fine. Solid spot for a group thing, nothing fancy but it worked. 👍

Stopped by for a quick bite while wandering around Kiel’s center. Sandwich was fresh, coffee did the job. Nothing fancy but totally fine for a casual lunch with a friend. Place was a bit busy around noon, so we grabbed a table outside. Good enough if you’re nearby and hungry 😊
