Stopped by for lunch after walking around the marina. Staff were friendly, got a table right away. Had the pasta—solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Price was fair for the area. Place gets a bit busy around noon, but that's on me for timing. Good enough if you're nearby.

The chili con carne here was proper homemade, not from a can. Baked Camembert came with warm bread, hit the spot on a cold day. Fair prices for the old town location.

The black pasta was really good, definitely the highlight. Service came quick, almost too quick but fine for a lunch stop. The flowers hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch, makes the place feel different. I'd go back if I'm in Kiel again.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in Germany! Traditional - yet on the finer side - 5 star service and the food was unbelievable! Cannot recommend more!

The homemade cakes are the reason to come here. Tried the apple streusel, still warm, not too sweet. That alone made the stop worth it. Didn't care much about the marina view or the rooftop thing. Just sat down, ate, left. Maybe a bit pricey for a slice, but the texture was spot on.

Stopped by after shopping and grabbed a pizza. Crust had a nice char, toppings were fresh. Took a while to come out, but the wine list kept me busy. Staff didn't rush us. Solid spot if you're in the area and not in a hurry.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the schnitzel, it hit the spot. Place has been here forever, that says something. Menu's big, even has pizza. Prices are fair for what you get. Service was fast enough for my break. Solid spot if you're in Kiel and need something reliable. Not fancy, but you know what you're getting.

The orange buns and fruit entremets were spot on—nice to find halal options too. Prices run a bit high, though the quality holds up. Would've loved a wine pairing suggestion to go with the sweets.

Great coffee as always, and the place feels really cozy. Parking nearby is a bit tricky, but it's still my go-to spot in Kiel.

The Ethiopian pour-over was really clean and fruity — you can tell they roast their own beans. Kiel doesn't have many spots like this. Just wish the cups were a bit bigger.

Nice spot right by the water, sandy beach feel. Had a fresh cocktail, ingredients tasted quality. Marina view is lovely for a sunny afternoon.

Lovely dinner with our dog — they even brought him water without asking. The lamb was properly tender, portions decent for the price. Typical Greek taverna vibe, nothing fancy but solid.
