Stopped by for a Negroni. It was properly made, strong enough. Staff was attentive without hovering. Place has a decent vibe, not too loud for a conversation. Good spot if you're in Bern and want a solid drink without the fuss. I'd come back.

Helena plate and chicken salad were solid. Chips were good, and the welcome drink had a real kick. Nice touch, though service could've been a bit faster.

Stopped by for a drink after work and honestly the cocktails are spot on. I had something gin-based, super balanced, not too sweet. The place has this chill vibe, easy to just sit and chat. Bartenders seemed like they actually liked being there, which always makes it better. Only thing, it got a bit busy later, but still fine.

The Masala Dosa here is solid—CHF 9.50 with sambar and chutney, pretty fair for Basel. They've got idli and vada all day too. Staff was friendly, didn't have to wait long.

The pizzas were excellent and a doggy bag was provided for the left overs. I would love to have ordered desert and coffee. However, the waitress was so involved in a conversation with some other customers and the went inside and wasn't seen again. We decided to go and paid at the counter! The music was also very loud outside.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and the cordon bleu was solid. Rösti hit the spot too. Place has that cozy local vibe, easy to just hang out with friends for a bit. Service was chill, not hovering over us.

The surprise menu is a fun idea—our vegetarian courses were creative and tasty. Staff took time to explain each dish, which I appreciated.

Went for lunch and grabbed the set menu—still solid after all these visits. Service stays friendly, food consistent. That’s why I keep coming back.

The cordon bleu was solid — crispy outside, cheese actually melted through. Staff took time to explain the menu, which helped. Classic Swiss spot, nothing fancy but it works.

Came here with a couple friends after wandering around Lucerne, and honestly the tapas hit the spot. We ordered a bunch to share, everything came out fresh and hot. Prices felt fair for what you get, especially for being right in the center. Place is small so it got a bit cozy, but that kinda added to the vibe. Would come back for sure 😊

Good breakfast spread - croissants were fresh, and they even had rice and curry. Coffee machine with creamy milk hit the spot. Solid quick morning stop.

We wanted to try both the fondue and raclette but didn’t want two big portions. They let us order single servings of each, which was perfect for sharing. Really appreciated that flexibility. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the staff made it easy.

The fish soup was the star—rich, deep flavor. Chocolate moelleux hit the spot too. Pricey for small portions though.

The terrace is the main reason we keep coming back. Sat outside on a warm evening and the vibe was genuinely French, not trying too hard. Food was solid, but honestly the dessert tray is where they shine. Portions are decent for the price, though I wouldn't say it's cheap. Just a nice spot to linger over coffee after.

Great spot for a quick bite with friends. Sat outside, people-watched while we ate. Food was fresh and came out fast. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Everything’s cooked fresh so you’ll wait a little, but honestly the salmon with risotto was worth it. Fish soup was hearty too, hit the spot on a cold day. Just remember they’re shut Sundays and Mondays, and it’s cash only. The seating’s a bit tight but I didn’t mind much.

The bun bo here is the real deal. Broth’s got that deep, slow-cooked flavor, and the beef is actually tender. Had the fried noodles too, decent but the bun bo’s the one I’d come back for. Place gets busy, but the food comes out fast enough. Solid pick in Markthalle if you need a quick fix.

The Basler Gold here is properly rich—one slice and you’re set for the day. Not many places carry it, so I make a point to stop by when I’m in the area. The tram stop right outside helps too, easy to grab something and go. Just mind the sugar level if you’re not used to it.

My favorite Thai in Bern! Lovely service, amazing food and located in the heart of a beautiful street in the city center. Don’t miss the chance to eat there!

Stopped by for coffee and dessert after checking out Parliament. The dessert looked almost too good to eat, tasted even better. Nice spot to just sit and rest your feet for a bit.

Great spot for a casual beer in the old town. Sat outside, service was quick and friendly. Perfect for people-watching.

Ryan was really helpful and spoke perfect English. Food came out fast, and my salad tasted fresh. Nice spot if you're in the area.

Came here for the first time and honestly the food was solid, but the portions felt a bit small for what you pay. The waiter kept replying in English even though I started in German, which was a little odd. Nice vibe inside, but it got pretty busy. Decent meal, just not sure I’d rush back.

The truffle pasta was the standout — rich but not too heavy. Service was a bit slow, but the vibe made up for it.

Came here with a group of 12 and honestly impressed how smooth it went. Every single dish arrived hot and basically at the same time, which never happens with big tables. Food was well-prepared, nothing fancy but solid. Service felt genuine, not forced. Would come back for sure.

The outdoor patio is shaded and lively—great spot to just sit for a while. The prosciutto with melon was the highlight, super fresh. Pizza was solid too.

Solid meal, friendly staff. Bit pricey for what you get, but the food was good. Fine if you're in the area.

Been coming here for a while now. The owner still remembers my usual order, which is kinda nice. Had the fried rice again, portion's still massive, took half of it home like always. Food's consistent, that's mainly why I keep coming back. Place gets busy around 7, so come a bit earlier if you can.

The food was pretty good, and the price is decent for what you get. The lighting was a bit too dim for my liking, but overall a fine spot for a casual dinner.
