I had an incredible experience at Bar George, where the staff was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were fantastic, and the food was beautifully presented, making it a memorable night out.

Loved the outdoor patio on a warm evening. The retro decor inside is charming, but our table was a bit wobbly. Still, a nice spot for a casual dinner.

Had the scallops with celeriac purée for a quick lunch. They were really good. The 4-course menu is a solid deal, portions are big. Got in and out fast, which is what I needed.

Gets super packed around 6:30 and 10:30, no reservations. The tables are pretty close together. Felt a bit squeezed in, honestly. Still, the energy is lively.

Great spot for a business lunch. Plenty of space between tables, good natural light. Felt comfortable, not cramped.

Sat at the bar, watched the wood fire grill the whole time. The heat on your face, the smell of the smoke... that's the main event. The open kitchen view is worth the seat choice alone.

Service was on point. Our server checked in just enough, never felt rushed. Had a question about the wine, got a solid suggestion. Honestly, that kind of attentive but not hovering service is hard to find. Made the whole dinner smooth.

Been coming here for years. The La Béam crepe is always spot-on, that mix of savory and sweet just hits right. It's the one thing I know I can count on every single visit.

Service was efficient and professional. The crème brûlée was the star - perfect texture and not too sweet.

As a pescatarian, I had a decent selection. The goat cheese bruschetta was pretty good, and the mac and cheese pasta was fine. The place itself is cozy, which I liked. A solid spot for a casual meal.

The Mediterranean platter was a fun way to try a bit of everything. I’d go back just for those corn fritters – crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The olive tapenade was a nice salty kick. Perfect for sharing with a friend.

Loved the cozy, vintage feel inside. Music was at a perfect level for chatting without having to raise your voice. Just a really nice, warm spot to unwind over a meal.

Been here for breakfast a few times now. The staff is friendly and patient if you're not a local speaker. My usual is the eggs benedict – solid, nothing fancy. It's just a reliable spot.

Solid breakfast buffet. Lots of choices, which is great when you're in a hurry. Service is quick and efficient. My go-to spot for a reliable, no-fuss morning meal. Gets the job done.

Been here a few times. The dips are the highlight for me - always fresh, and each one has its own distinct flavor. The hummus is particularly good. The place itself is cozy.

Celebrated a birthday here on a Tuesday. The team handled it well. Food quality is consistent, and everything tasted fresh. Good spot for a reliable meal downtown.

Portions are generous, and the fries are particularly well-seasoned and crispy. Good value for the amount of food you get.

The tuna and mango bowl was fresh, but the texture felt a bit off. The tuna was great, but the mango pieces were a little too soft and mushy in some bites, which threw the whole bowl out of balance for me.

Nice little spot with a cozy, family-run feel. The staff really seem to care. We had the grilled salmon, and it was solid. The wine list is short but thoughtful—found a decent Pinot Noir that went well with the fish. A bit on the quiet side for a Friday, but that was fine by me.

Grilled veggies were cooked well, not soggy. Plating was neat, but portions felt a bit small for the price. Service was prompt.

Had a lovely evening on Pacini's terrace. The weather was perfect for it. Got to watch the sunset while we ate, which was a nice touch. My pasta was solid, service was fine. A bit pricier than I expected, but you're paying for the view.

Service was on point and the fish and chips were solid. My buddy did say a little side of coleslaw would've been nice, even for a buck extra. Just a thought.

The tilapia plate is huge for $14.99. My colleague and I shared it for lunch and it was more than enough. Good value for a business lunch downtown.

The Persian-style pizza is pretty good. Thin, crispy crust, not heavy at all. The roast beef one had decent flavor. Service was a bit slow, but it was a busy Friday night.

The chicken and waffles are a must. So good I went back twice last week. The place has a really modern vibe, upbeat music but not too loud. Just a nice spot to unwind.

The steak was cooked just right, medium rare. BYO wine is a nice plus, saved us a bit. Solid spot for a casual dinner.

Sarah was great with the wine list. She suggested a nice Pinot Noir that went perfectly with the steak. Really friendly service.

Portions are huge here! The risotto was so creamy and good. My friends all liked their pizzas and burgers too. Perfect spot for a casual dinner with the crew. 😊

Been coming here for years. The poutine special this week was solid - crispy fries, good local cheese, and the house BBQ sauce works. Sausage was decent. It's a reliable spot for that kind of comfort food.

Cozy spot, great for a relaxed meal after a long day. The retro vibe is nice. I appreciated their wine list - found a decent Pinot Noir that paired well with my pasta. Service was a touch slow, but no big deal.
