The mushroom risotto was really good, creamy and full of flavor. Bruschetta on the side hit the spot too. Place gets packed fast so come early if you can.

Pancakes were fluffy, French toast solid too. Place was packed but we still got our food quick. Sat outside, nice for watching people go by. Just a decent breakfast spot, nothing crazy.

Service was solid, especially Bruno and Eva. Orchid breakfast for two was decent value, though the shrimp burger was a bit dry.

Been coming here for a while now. The coffee stays consistent, which is honestly the main reason I keep going back. Place is a mix of cafe, bar, and old bookshop, so there's always something to look at. Cachaça list is huge too. It gets a bit busy around lunch, but that's fine. Solid spot if you just want to hang out.

The spaghetti bolognese was simple but really tasty, tasted like homemade pasta. Sauce had that slow-cooked flavor, you could tell it wasn't rushed. Portion was decent for the price too. Place was busy when I went, but the food came out quick enough. I'd go back just for that dish.

The picanha burger was actually pretty good, and the caldo de galinha hit the spot on a cold day. Service was quick and friendly enough. Pizza though? Missing tomato sauce, kinda dry. Not sure what happened there. But for a quick bite, it does the job. I'd stick to the burger next time.

The homemade ice cream is super creamy. German cake is my usual order, never lets me down. Chocolate selection's solid too.

The Nutella cake here is seriously good. White and dark chocolate brigadeiro with dulce de leche inside, super rich but not too sweet. I'd go back just for that slice. Maybe the best cake I've had in a while.

The pork ribs in barbecue sauce were really good, and the place has AC which helps on hot days. Italian soda was a nice touch too. Solid lunch spot in the city center.

Service is a gamble here. Got a guy who barely looked up when taking my order. Food was solid though, so I'd probably come back for a quick bite. Just don't expect friendly chat.

The sandwich combos are really well thought out, flavors work nicely together. Service was friendly too, no complaints there.

Came here for a birthday cake and the guy actually went to the back to check if they had the whole diet one. That saved us. Staff is polite, no complaints. Place gets busy but they handle it fine. Solid local spot, nothing fancy but does the job.

The cheese bread here is always on point. Got the hot chocolate too and honestly it was the best part of the visit. Staff were nice, no complaints there. Place gets busy around lunch so grab a seat if you can. Just wish they had a bit more variety on the menu, but what they do, they do well.

The ham and cheese ciabatta was really good, and the price felt fair for a quick lunch. Took a little while to get my order, but the staff was nice about it. I'd grab it again if I'm in the area and in a hurry.

The quindim was perfectly sweet, just the right way to end the meal. Nice spot to sit down after wandering the gardens.

Coffee's the real deal here. Had an Americano, hot and properly made. Pão de queijo on the side was solid too. Place gets busy but whatever. Just go for the coffee, skip the rest.

Been coming here for a while now, mostly after hitting the exhibitions nearby. Hot chocolate is still solid, never disappoints. Staff remembers me, which is nice. Croquettes were a bit dry this time, but honestly, that's not why I keep coming back. Good enough for a quick stop and a warm drink.

Nice little café, prices fair for the neighborhood. Had a decent meal, service was friendly enough. Nothing fancy but it does the job.

The coffee here is genuinely good, like actually good. I grabbed a latte with their breakfast sandwich and it hit the spot. Place is pretty chill for a quick bite, nothing fancy but does the job. Just wish they had more seating, got a bit crowded around noon.

The flat white wasn't quite what I hoped for, but the espresso was solid. Snack selection was pretty good too, and prices felt fair for the area.

The gelato here is seriously good—you can tell it’s made on-site. Had the pistachio and it was creamy, just the right sweetness. Inside the Fairmont, so it feels a bit fancy, but the vibe is chill. Coffee’s solid too, though I wish the portions were a bit bigger.

Cozy spot, and the espresso was decent but kinda small for what you pay. Staff seemed a bit all over the place too.

Stopped here for a coffee while waiting around Carioca station. The place is convenient, nothing fancy, but the coffee did the job. Seats are a bit basic, but fine for a quick break. Staff were polite enough. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Been coming here for a while now, and the cheese bread keeps me hooked. Still warm, crispy on the outside, soft inside. Hot chocolate's solid too, not too sweet. Place has that old-school vibe with all the coffee stuff around, feels like a time warp. Gets a bit crowded on weekends, but I keep going back.

The puddings here are really good — you can tell they put care into everything. I noticed the little fabric-wrapped molds and handmade ceramics, such a nice touch. They also do cakes and coffee if you feel like hanging around. Just a cozy spot run by a mother and daughter, feels very personal.

Good beer list, lots of local stuff. Prices hurt a little though. Place was chill, bartender kept an eye on my glass. Fine for a quick one after work.
