Popped in for a quick lunch. The green salad was the highlight for me – the lettuce and cherry tomatoes tasted so fresh and crisp. Just what I needed. The staff were very friendly, as always. A reliable spot for a simple, healthy bite.

Stopped by for a snack and they had challah bread. Haven't seen that anywhere else in York. It was really good, fresh and soft. Just what I needed with a coffee.

Preet was so attentive, really made the evening. The food was solid, and the wine list had some interesting local options. Her timing with the drinks was spot on.

Two courses for £22, generous portions. The steak was cooked as requested, and the fish pie was substantial. Good value for a straightforward business lunch near the office.

Visiting from the US, I was glad to find a Halal Subway. The footlong BLT with double meat hit the spot. A glass of something crisp would have been nice with it, but the drink options were a bit limited. Still, a solid find for a quick bite.

Got there a bit late, but the staff were really decent about it. Coffee was spot on. Place was packed but still felt relaxed.

The duck chow mein was so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Been coming here for my morning coffee for a while now. It's a chain, but they're consistently good - the flat white is just right every time. A reliable spot in the centre of Harrogate.

Custom burger spot. Pricier than your average fast food. But you can see the quality in the patty and toppings. Worth it for a treat now and then.

The steak and ale pie was a solid choice. The pastry was flaky and the filling was hearty. I appreciated that the beef tasted fresh and the vegetables weren't overcooked. A good, honest pub meal.

Been coming here for years. The curries are always spot on, not too heavy, and the naan is fresh. It’s my go-to for a reliable meal.

Decent spot, modern and bright. The small car park is a nice touch. Had a glass of their house red with the steak - the wine was a bit young but it worked well enough with the food. A comfortable place for a casual dinner.

The fish and chips. The batter was crisp, not greasy at all. The chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. The mushy peas had a good minty kick. That's what I come for.

Decent spot for a pre-show bite. The portions are generous, which is just what you want before an event. My pasta was pretty good, though the sauce was a touch heavy. Got us sorted without a rush.

Been coming here for years, the food is always pretty good. The spicy prawns and calzone are my usual picks. It's a reliable spot, though the service can be a bit slow on busy nights.

Came in from the rain. It was so cosy in there. The staff were lovely to our dog, which really made a difference on a gloomy day. Just a warm, welcoming spot to dry off.

Loved the view of the church and castle from my table. The scrambled eggs on sourdough with bacon were spot on. A really nice, simple breakfast for the price.

Much nicer vibe than the other branches, perfect for a casual catch-up.

Found this place by accident. Had the vegan burger, really solid. Menu's got loads of options for different diets. Good value too.

The lamb shank was cooked just right, fell off the bone. The sauce had a deep, rich flavour that went well with the mash. Portion was huge, couldn't finish it all. That's the main thing for me.

Lovely little spot, felt really cosy. The seabass was the star for me - skin was super crispy and the flesh just flaked apart. Portion was a bit on the small side, but it was cooked perfectly.

I really appreciate their focus on fresh ingredients. The grilled cheese sandwich had a lovely, simple quality to it. The patatas bravas were tasty, though I wish the portion was a bit bigger for sharing.

The staff really know their drinks. Got a great recommendation for a cocktail I'd never have tried otherwise.

The cheese and meat board was really good, and the YPA paired well with it. They'd run out of olives, which was a bit of a shame. Still, the whole vibe of the place is just right for a relaxed evening.

As someone who often struggles to find good veggie options, their menu was a pleasant surprise. Everything tasted really fresh and came out properly hot, which is always a plus. The staff were lovely and attentive, too.

They squeezed us in when it was packed. The coffee was just right, and the whole place felt so warm and cosy. Really nice spot to just sit for a bit.

Popped in for lunch. The baked potato with prawns was spot on, really hit the spot. Nice selection of teas too. Place has a good, friendly buzz.

A cosy little spot with a lot of character. The menu had some interesting options beyond the standard fare, which was nice. I went for the spiced pumpkin soup and it was pretty good. The interior is quirky and comfortable, though it did get a bit warm inside.

The Black Sheep ale here is spot on. It’s got that proper malty depth, not too bitter. Theakstons was a bit too fruity for my taste, but the Black Sheep is the one.

The cheesy cauliflower and broccoli soup was so thick and tasty, perfect for a chilly evening. We shared a big bowl while catching up. The homemade coleslaw was a nice fresh side too. Just a really cosy spot for a relaxed dinner with friends.
