Service was quick even when busy. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Lovely food, but it's the little play area out back that really made it for us. The kids were so content, we could actually relax and enjoy our meal. A rare treat for a family dinner out.

Cona offers a pretty good halal fine dining experience. The menu changes often, which is nice, and the staff are clearly passionate.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. The pizza slice deal with chips and a drink is a no-brainer. Crispy base, sauce has good flavour. Gets you in and out fast.

Nice place for a quiet drink. The snooker table is a nice touch, and the staff are very friendly. It's comfortable to just sit and relax.

The breakfast burrito is the one. Perfectly scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns inside, and a really good salsa verde. The cakes are a problem though – the lemon drizzle slice today was too good, had to get a second one to take away.

The chicken satay skewers and prawn toast were really good. Everything arrived piping hot and full of flavour. A solid meal, though the tables are a bit close together.

Stumbled upon this spot during a walk. The onion rings really stood out – a generous portion, and they tasted so fresh. The burger patty was cooked just right, juicy without being greasy. Appreciated that.

The mixed meze is a solid starter for two. Everything tasted fresh and the flavours worked well together.

The fish and chips are good. The batter is light and crispy, and the chips are thick-cut.

Nice little pub with a cracking selection of Timothy Taylor ales. The outdoor bit is lovely, perfect for a pint with the dog.

The steak was spot on, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Portions were huge, we couldn't even think about dessert! Service was really friendly too.

The vegan melanzane harissa pizza was spot on. Really impressed with how fresh the aubergine was.

The curries were really fresh and not oily at all, which I loved. Great to have that lighter option.

The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish inside was really fresh. Chips were perfect, not greasy. Felt like a proper Yorkshire meal.

Popped in for a quick pint. The beer list is solid – they had a local IPA that paired surprisingly well with the bar nuts. A bit pricey for the area, but I'd swing by again.

Lovely little spot just off the high street. The deli downstairs is a treat. Upstairs, the tearoom is so peaceful. Had the brie and bacon panini – really generous with the fillings, which was nice. A very comfortable place to sit and relax.

Always check the specials board. Tried the Korean burger with kimchi this time. The spice was spot on, not overpowering at all. The chef definitely has a good hand with flavours. A solid choice.

Came for the pistachio gelato. The texture was just right, not too icy. But honestly, for the price they're charging, the portion in the cup felt a bit small. I've had bigger scoops elsewhere for less.

Portions were just right, not too heavy. The shepherd's pie was really satisfying, had it for a late lunch. The lasagna was good too, solid spot for a casual bite.

The fish and chips were spot on! Honestly some of the best I've had. The vibe was just right for catching up with friends, not too loud so we could actually hear each other. The chips were perfectly crispy. A solid choice for a casual night out.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The green salad was the highlight for me – the lettuce and cherry tomatoes tasted so fresh and crisp. Just what I needed. The staff were very friendly, as always. A reliable spot for a simple, healthy bite.

Two courses for £22, generous portions. The steak was cooked as requested, and the fish pie was substantial. Good value for a straightforward business lunch near the office.
