Been coming here for years, whenever I&#39;m in Sapa. The food&#39;s always the same&mdash;really good and never overpriced. That&#39;s why I keep coming back. The staff are friendly and speak English, so ordering is simple.

Loved the morning light in this quiet corner. The valley view is stunning, really peaceful. Inside feels like a proper pub, especially those interesting drawings on the walls. A nice spot to just be.

I recently celebrated my 45th birthday and the country of choice was Vietnam. I spent a couple if days in Sapa. The day before my birthday, I went to Sky View Restaurant and Bar to make a reservation. I asked one of the waiters that I wanted a guaranteed seat because it is my special day. I was told that no reservation is needed but they&#39;ll do it anyway. The next day at dinner, I came back and was welcome right away by the same waiter who I spoke the day before. He also remembered and greeted me happy birthday. Isn&#39;t he the sweetest!? I had a seat at their balcony and ordered their Grilled Sturgeon by ethnic style (Sapa local fish), vegetable spring roll and their Terre Forti Trebbiano Chardonay White wine.After dinner, II asked for my bill so I can call it a night. Right before they hand me my tab, the lights went off and I started hearing a birthday song, while the staff of the restaurant approached me with this platter of cake. I was a little teary at that moment, for that pleasant surprise by people I don&#39;t even know. I wish I can post the video but unfortunately, this app only allows photos. Despite being alone on my birthday, I felt the warmth and celebrated.This place is highly recommended because:1. Great location - peaceful, decent and clean2. Nice quiet spot, good for reading. Sat on the terrace for a couple hours. Staff was friendly, food came out quick. Had the chicken sandwich, it was decent. A bit pricey for what it is, but the atmosphere is nice.

Dal fry was the best I&#39;ve had, really flavorful. We ordered a few other things too and everything was just gone so fast. Solid spot for a casual meal.
