Lollipop chicken was proper good, and the veg momos hit the spot. Beer was cold too. Deb ji looked after us well. Solid spot.

Stopped by The Writer's Bar last evening. Drinks were solid, no complaints there. Place has that old-school charm, you can feel the history. Bartender knew his stuff, didn't hover though. Got a table by the window, easy to just sit and watch people. Not cheap, but you're paying for the vibe. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

Tiny Domino's but pizzas are solid. Mexican and Paneer Makhani both good. They'll bring both at once though.

Tried this place after visiting Har Ki Pauri. Food was decent, no complaints there. But the seating area felt a bit cramped, especially during lunch rush. We waited around 15 mins for a table. Prices are slightly steep for what you get, but it's convenient if you're in the area. Would come back if I'm nearby, not going out of my way though.

Loved the kulfi station at the buffet—such a fun way to finish. The ingredients felt fresh, though I wish there were more salad options. Service was attentive without hovering.

The sweets are the real deal here—plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. Picked up a large box for a family gathering and it went down well with everyone. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but honestly the quality makes up for it. Pretty good spot if you're in the area.

Lakshita handled our table really well—polite, quick, and she knew when to step in without hovering. Food came out on time, which I appreciate. I paired my curry with a Kingfisher and it worked fine. Nothing fancy, but the service kept things smooth. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Tried this place for Tibetan food and honestly the pork momos were the highlight. Juicy, well seasoned, not too spicy. Shapta was decent too. The lantern lighting inside makes it feel warm and cozy. Only thing is they get busy fast, so expect a wait if you go at dinner time. I'd say worth it if you're not in a rush.

The Dal Makhani was properly rich, that smoky flavor came through just right. Had the Kashmiri Dum Aloo too, spices were balanced, potatoes cooked well. Honestly the dal was the star, so creamy. Wish they gave more of it though, portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, satisfying meal.

Service was good when we went, though they did seem a bit stretched during the rush. Still, the staff made sure we were looked after. Friendly people, just busy. Not a complaint, just something to keep in mind if you go at peak time. We were happy with how it went.

Food was decent but arrived lukewarm. Parking was easy though, and the flavors are bold—maybe too spicy for some. Service was quick, so can't complain much.

Loved the idea of trying temple food from different parts of India in one thali. The imarti rabdi was so good, I’m still thinking about it. Slightly pricey for Rishikesh, but the freshness made it worth it. 😊

Came in late and they still served us pasta. Staff was really nice about it, didn't make us feel rushed. Food hit the spot after a long day.

The coffee was solid and that falafel made a good snack. Loved the mountain view from the top floor, such a chill spot to just sit for a while.

The seating area near the window had this soft evening light coming in, felt really calm. Half thali was surprisingly filling for two people. Food tasted home-cooked, not like a restaurant trying too hard. Staff let us take our time which I appreciated. Just wish they had a bit more ventilation, got slightly warm after a while.

The balcony view of the Ganges is the real deal here. Caught it around sunset and honestly couldn't look away. Food was decent too, nothing fancy but tasty enough. Just sat there with my chai watching the aarti happen below. Wish the service was a bit quicker though, took a while to get the bill. But that view makes up for most things.

The poha here is honestly the best I've had in Kumaon—loaded with veggies and peanuts. Cappuccino was a miss though, kinda watery. Terrace seating with lake views made up for it.

The honey chilli potato paired surprisingly well with a gin and tonic. Solid dinner, though the fried rice tasted a bit different from back home.

Prices run a bit high for the area, but the ingredients tasted really fresh. Got the grilled fish and it was cooked just right. Happy with the meal overall.

The view of the Ganga from the balcony is stunning in the morning. Had breakfast while watching the river—pretty peaceful.
