The private room at the back is perfect for our book club meet-ups. Plenty of space, and the staff were so helpful setting up the projector for us. It made the whole evening really relaxed.

Love the rotating taps here. Always find something new. Perfect for a quick pint after work. Selection of cans is huge too.

Valentine's dinner was lovely. The server was really friendly and attentive. Food was cooked perfectly, especially the steak. Just a bit pricey for the portion sizes.

The bartender really went out of his way for us. We were struggling to get a cab after dinner, and he sorted out an Uber on his own phone. Made sure we got in it okay. That kind of service, especially after a couple of great cocktails, is what makes a place stand out.

Simulators are well maintained and the whole experience is really smooth, even when it's busy.

No. 1 of Bars in Birmingham

Anna was brilliant with our big group. She found us a quiet corner table that was perfect, really made the evening easy. The food was decent, though the lamb chops were a bit over for my taste.

Solid pub food, nothing fancy but done well. The chicken wings were the star for me - perfectly crispy and sticky with a great sauce. Just what you want with a pint.

Came in on a quiet Tuesday. The lack of TVs is a nice touch, makes it easy to just talk. Had the fish and chips. Portion was generous for the price, really filled me up. Good spot for a simple, no-fuss meal.

A lovely, cosy pub. The new owners are so friendly and welcoming, it really makes a difference. The seats by the window are comfy for a quiet drink. Feels like it could become a regular spot.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, blending cosy pub charm with stylish sophistication. The staff are incredibly welcoming, making for a delightful dining experience.

The large Pepsi was a bit pricey. That's the only thing I'd mention. The burger itself was spot on - the patty had a proper char, and the cheese was nicely melted. Just a solid, straightforward burger.

The burger was really tasty and the chips were cooked just right. It's just a shame they use those little sachets for ketchup and mayo. They're so awkward to open and you never get enough out.

Popped in for a special occasion and the staff were so sweet – they even surprised us with a glass of bubbly! The service really made the night. The view over the harbour is a bonus, too.

The staff were so helpful setting up our birthday celebration. The cocktails were great, but I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in the mocktails too.

Bottomless brunch was a solid choice for our group. Good drinks selection and the food was tasty. Staff were really nice and kept the glasses topped up, which was perfect for a long, chatty catch-up.

The new menu is a real surprise. Tried a few dishes and they were all interesting and tasty. Prices are pretty fair for what you get. The beer list is still solid.

Titanic Plum Porter still on tap, that's the main thing. The cask ale is in good shape, pours a proper dark colour. It's just the same as it ever was, which is all I really wanted.

Nice spot with a big garden and a playground for the kids. The indoor area is spacious too. They have a decent range of ales on tap. A solid choice for a relaxed afternoon.

The games room with the dartboard is a nice touch. Perfect for a relaxed pint and catch-up with mates.

This pub's always been a favourite. The owners have a real knack for making it feel welcoming, like you're popping round a friend's place. It's that personal touch that keeps us coming back.
