The fish and chips were spot on. The batter was light and crisp, the fish inside was flaky and moist. Chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy. A solid portion for the price. The mushy peas on the side were a bit bland, though.

Been here a few times now. What keeps me coming back is how fresh everything tastes. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The salads are crisp, and the grilled fish is always light and flaky. A lovely spot by the lake in summer.

Staff are so lovely and polite. The coffee is always fantastic, just the right strength. It's the kind of place that feels warm the moment you step in.

We celebrated a birthday at The Vine, and the food was fantastic! Our server, Victoria, went above and beyond to make the occasion special. Highly recommend this place for any celebration.

Popped in on a Wednesday, no booking. They squeezed us in, which was nice. Got the fish and chips. Honestly, the wait for the food was pretty long. But the portion was massive for the price, so I can't really complain.

The burger was really tasty and the chips were cooked just right. It's just a shame they use those little sachets for ketchup and mayo. They're so awkward to open and you never get enough out.

Popped in for a special occasion and the staff were so sweet – they even surprised us with a glass of bubbly! The service really made the night. The view over the harbour is a bonus, too.

The staff were so helpful setting up our birthday celebration. The cocktails were great, but I really appreciated the fresh ingredients in the mocktails too.

Bottomless brunch was a solid choice for our group. Good drinks selection and the food was tasty. Staff were really nice and kept the glasses topped up, which was perfect for a long, chatty catch-up.

The new menu is a real surprise. Tried a few dishes and they were all interesting and tasty. Prices are pretty fair for what you get. The beer list is still solid.

Titanic Plum Porter still on tap, that's the main thing. The cask ale is in good shape, pours a proper dark colour. It's just the same as it ever was, which is all I really wanted.

Nice spot with a big garden and a playground for the kids. The indoor area is spacious too. They have a decent range of ales on tap. A solid choice for a relaxed afternoon.

The games room with the dartboard is a nice touch. Perfect for a relaxed pint and catch-up with mates.

This pub's always been a favourite. The owners have a real knack for making it feel welcoming, like you're popping round a friend's place. It's that personal touch that keeps us coming back.

The function room looked great for our event. The buffet was decent, especially the roast beef, though some of the hot dishes had cooled down a bit by the time we got to them.

I highly recommend The Bulls Head for its brilliant service and delicious food. Amanda was an amazing waitress, making our family day out truly enjoyable.

The Sunday roast was spot on. Those Yorkshire puddings were homemade for sure, really light and crisp. Just a shame the gravy was a bit on the thin side for my liking. Still, a proper Sunday lunch.

Been coming here for years. It's my go-to for a quiet pint after work. The service is always quick, and they remember my usual. Prices haven't gone crazy either, which is nice these days.
