In October 1958, the Yellowstone Museum was established. In 1962, the museum was abolished when the institution was adjusted. In May 1975, the Municipal Revolutionary Committee, in the "Huangge Text (1975) No. 1, notified the Municipal Library, the Workers' Cultural Palace and the Municipal Mass Art Museum to separate their families, and decided to restore the Yellowstone Museum. After the museum was restored, two brands were hung with the library, a set of teams, unified leadership, and co-authored office. The museum display building was completed on November 15, 1977, and officially opened to the public on October 1, 1979. In 1978, the Municipal Reform Committee decided that the city museum and the city library were officially separated. The Yellowstone Museum has been through more than 50 years of development. As the only municipal comprehensive museum in Huangshi City, it has given full play to the role of cultural relics collection, protection, research and display. In December 2008, the new museum was completed and opened free of charge to the outside world. At present, it includes the city museum and the former site of Hanyeyu Coal Iron Factory and Mine, a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. (Xiaohonglou). The museum basically displays the "Tiandiyi Honglu-Huangshi Mineral and Metallurgical Culture Exhibition" in December 2008 free of charge to the public, the total exhibits 507 pieces/set, of which 293 pieces/set of cultural relics are on display. The exhibition area is 3960 square meters. The content is based on the history of the development of the Yellowstone area. By displaying a large number of archaeological excavation materials and literature materials, combining modern high-tech technologies such as sound, light and electricity and large-scale scene restoration and other artistic projects, the Yellowstone area has been fully displayed since the Paleolithic era 200,000 years ago - "Stone Faucet Culture" as the opening, through the Neolithic era, Shangzhou, Spring and Autumn Warring States, Qin and Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing, until the modern, thousands of years of mining and metallurgy development history. The "China Table Tennis Achievement Exhibition" is another special theme exhibition in my museum. There are three exhibition halls, 700 square meters, and the exhibition hall is full of "ping-pong" elements. The exhibition has passed 7 World Table Tennis Championships trophy, 30 medals, more than 10 costumes, books and other precious objects and more than 200 pictures, more than 30 image materials, the exhibition is divided into the origin of table tennis, the development of China's table tennis movement, table tennis diplomacy, leading people, brilliant achievements, Ten parts of the Yellowstone training base, medals and badges, and wonderful videos of the game show the glorious history of Chinese table tennis in a comprehensive way.
