Hotels With spa in Braga District, Portugal

It is a nice hotel right in front of S. Bento’s church. It has a couple of restaurants nearby but we always had dinner at the hotel. Great food, both breakfast and dinner, and each plate had a very generous amount of food, good enough to share with another person. Pillows are too soft, beds are good, rooms are also nice but are not sound proof. You can access the Spa for an hour as long as you book it in advance and it costs you 10€ per person.

The service was five star from the initial greeting through to check out. Accommodation was modern with glass doors and quality fittings plus a coffee machine which was a nice touch. Spa was very good although you need a shower cap for the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and they even provided gluten-free pastries which was a lovely touch. Finally, the vineyard and surrounding areas are stunning.

Exceptional hotel! All at the maximum: room cleaning, staff friendly, breakfast rich with fresh and well-assorted products. Well heated ambiences despite the huge spaces; rooms with home and super large bathroom with shower and bathtub. You can't wish better! Compliments to Melia! Surely we'll come back! Outdoor free parking possibilities. The only small neo is the distance from the center, but not too far. Good staff boys!

Very good quality of service, impeccable facilities. Super varied breakfast. Extremely comfortable and super recent room. Hotel facilities were very good, unfortunately we weren't able to use the pool but from what we saw it was very good quality. I loved

We came to spend a night in this hotel on Sunday Easter. Very nice and well designed hotel. The first double standard table we stayed was very small. We asked for change to one at the same level but with better view and were very reasonable. The spa entrances were not controlled, which led to overtime of people at the time. The restaurant area is the same as breakfast area, and the food is median. It is preferable dinner in the city center since we are at 500m. very good breakfast. Free parking very limited.

Uma quinta muito agradável. Queremos voltar mas da próxima vez no verão para nadar na piscina e tomar pequeno-almoço na esplanada. A receção fecha 21h, então devem chegar antes.

We were very well received at the reception by Bárbara and had dinner in the restaurant where Mr. António showed a lot of friendliness and kindness. At the end of our stay we had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Adelaide, a very friendly and welcoming lady. When we go to Gerês we already know where to stay.

I found a gem in Guimarães. This old house, once owned by a famous tennis player, is elegantly renovated. The front desk service was exceptional, and the bartender was very attentive. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection, not a long, unremarkable array of options. They even had fresh-cut mangoes, which was a delight. The only downside was the bar downstairs, which was incredibly noisy on Saturday nights, forcing me to sleep until 3 a.m.

The hotel does not have duvets for the cold, just blankets. For those with allergies, there was no other option for the cold in the room. The indoor pool water was cold. Breakfast doesn't have much variety. The room is already in need of renovation, with stained carpets. I wasn't very pleased with the price charged and the quality it offered.
