Arte & Mare Elia Suites is a hotel with exceptional potential. It enjoys a fantastic beachfront location on Elia Beach, offers an intimate atmosphere, beautiful design, plenty of Instagram-worthy corners, high-quality dining, and excellent watersports. The foundation for an outstanding boutique hotel is definitely there, and with the right attention to detail, we truly believe it could become one of the best hotels on Mykonos. A special thank you goes to Constantina, Isabelle, Maria, and the manager Niko. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuinely warm hospitality were among the highlights of our stay and made a significant difference to our overall experience. We booked our stay on a half-board basis, which gave us the opportunity to experience the hotel’s dining throughout the week. Breakfast was, without a doubt, the highlight of every single day. It offered an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality products and quickly became our favourite part of the daily experience. Dinner was excellent on the evening when it was served à la carte. Unfortunately, this happened only once during our stay. On all other evenings, dinner was served as a buffet, where the selection was noticeably more limited. In addition, despite the advertised dinner service beginning at 6:00 PM, the buffet was repeatedly not fully set up until approximately 7:15 PM. We believe that guests booking a half-board package should be able to expect consistent quality and organisation throughout their entire stay. Unfortunately, we do not feel that the Elia Suites section currently meets the standard we would expect from a five-star hotel. The greatest opportunities for improvement lie in service consistency, housekeeping (several basic amenities & hygiene standards missing), room maintenance (many features were not functioning properly), cleanliness of the public areas, operational organisation, and overall attention to detail. While none of these issues alone would have defined our stay, together they created the impression that the hotel lacks clearly established procedures, regular quality control, and consistent operating standards. We also noticed significant differences between rooms within the same room category, as well as inconsistencies in the overall guest experience. We had the opportunity to compare two reservations booked in the exact same room category, and the difference was surprisingly substantial. One suite featured an older bathroom, a larger private pool, and a dining table, while the other had been renovated, included two bathrooms, but offered a smaller pool. For this reason, we would recommend that future guests ask the hotel to provide photos of the exact room assigned to them before arrival. Doing so can help avoid disappointment and ensure expectations match reality. Another major disappointment was that our package included a complimentary 30-minute massage, which was never provided during our stay. Despite asking about it several times, we
