Danubius Hotel Helia

Location was very convenient as transportation was nearby for either bus or trolley bus. Room was clean and comfortable for two of us. Air conditioning was just right and toiletries were as expected. Morning breakfast was a feast and we really loved the choices available. Truly the icing on the cake for our stay. Tourist attractions were easily accessible with the various transport mode. Budapest is a lovely city and our return trip would surely be here again. Kudos the the hotel staff for making our stay memorable.

We stayed at the long stay apartment and it was a treat! A superb room, super comfy, excellent view! The furniture all practical and modern, the appliances high tech! The pics dont do it justice really! The pool warm and relaxing and the breakfast really tasty! Its fully recommended!! And the stuff really polite and professional!

Solid 4.5 ⭐ in my book Hotel with a business vibe, a bit tricky location if you plan to use public transportation, because the majority of the routes require either switching lines or extra walking, but if you're looking for a dipped in green, quiet area, overlooking the Danube River, this would be the perfect one. And if you're driving that's going to be easy for you. The view of the river and Margaret Island are amazing. Amenities are pretty decent, spectacular gym with multiple devices, split to 2 floors. Has a best spa, including saunas, jacuzzi (with the varying temperatures), although the swimming pool was inactive during August, which was really disappointing especially for the kids. Breakfast was very good, though repetitive, but most will be very happy with variety and coffee and drinking options as well. Staff is very accommodating and is quickly attending any issue raised. We stayed in a Junior Suite room, that was very pleasant and modern and fully compatible for our 2+2 room capacity.

This is our favorite Hotel in Budapest. Friendly staff, nice room and parking. Good restaurant nearby.

The hotel is located not far at the center of Budapest. Easy access on everything, transportation likewise. Staff are friendly and nice. Food in breakfast was delicious and has so many options in the buffet. Rooms are clean and cozy. Overall, we did have a good time and total relaxation. Definitely recommended. I do not have any photo in the hotel as all photos are taken to the tourist spots only.
