Top Experiences & Travel Essentials in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai, tucked into the forested mountains of northern Thailand, is a former Lanna kingdom capital. With ancient temples, misty hills, and artisan villages, Chiang Mai offers a peaceful contrast to the bustle of Bangkok. Chiang Mai weather varies by season, with the cool, dry months from November to February being ideal for outdoor adventures and temple visits. Top things to do in Chiang Mai include exploring the Old City, visiting mountaintop Doi Suthep, and wandering Chiang Mai night markets, where food, crafts, and local charm come together every evening. One highlight is the city shines during the Chiang Mai Lantern Festival, when thousands of glowing lanterns float into the night sky—a truly magical sight.

Reviews: STICKY Waterfall halfday tour with CAFE ELEPHANT
Guest User2026-08-03
It was great! The driver was very helpful, and we even gave him a tip. We spent a little less time at the elephant cafe, but the waterfall was really interesting, and the kids had a blast climbing it. We absolutely love Chiang Mai! Even after two weeks, we still wanted more. We'll definitely come back again!

Reviews: STICKY Waterfall halfday tour with DAN TEWADA Angels Waterfall Park

We really enjoyed the tour, and we had plenty of time at the locations. We didn't expect the sticky waterfalls to be so much fun, so we recommend bringing a change of clothes.

They use a sedan to pick us up and it's very hot in here. Because the sedan has no limited windows and the air con is limited but the driver drive safely
