Hubby surprised me with a getaway to this little piece of earthly heaven. We travelled there on a very hot day, got there a little early and our bush cabin was quickly prepared for us to go relax in by the incredible staff. Reception looked like a little dung beetle ball, and we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the area is. It is quiet, there are lots of birds & Springbokkies. There are two swimming pools and the bar/lodge area is open to use. It's very clean in all the areas we were in and we loved our little bush retreat. We followed the receptionist to our cabin and enjoyed the view from the stoep. The amenities were to the left outside of the of the cabin (shower, basin with soaps and night light, toilet next to that). There is a little kitchenette area on the stoep with two chairs and a table (kettle, cutlery, cups, coffee, tea, two plate to cook food, dishwashing items). Recommended for star gazing at night. It was beautiful! Cabin itself had a lovely big fan in it, place to hang clothes with hangers, mini fridge with milk in it, very comfy bed surrounded by a mosquito net, microwave, fluffy towels, sliding door with gate in front. Hubby stated that it was definitely worth the amount he paid. Breakfast was delicious the next morning and we will for sure be back! There is a little bit of a gravel road (2-3km) to travel to the farm. Thank you so much, Dung Beetle Guest farm and Addo.
