Keystone Hotel

Nice place we enjoyed to stay. A bit old place but clean. Great position and good breakfast served every day plus 24h coffe and tea station. Recommend for sure for a short stay in Valdez

⸻ We knew from previous reviews that the hotel was old and not well-maintained, so we were prepared for that. But the most disappointing part was the staff. We stayed for two nights and didn’t receive even one shampoo. When I asked the receptionist, she gave us only one shampoo for two guests.

not much choice. the breakfast was barely adequate. But overall ok.

Quaint hotel with very helpful staff, walking ditto local restaurants, good variety for breakfast and free parking.

I would never stay here again or recommend anyone does. It’s an old crew quarters or something converted to a hotel, rooms are tiny and very dirty, carpet was full of hair and grime. There was peeling paint in many locations, water damage by the tub, tub constantly ran, toilet seat broken. There is no heat in the rooms. On top of everything else there was no hot water, it was luke warm at best. Do not waste your money, we left after the first night, it is that bad.

Decent budget accommodations, but very thin walls: I was awakened every day at 5am by someone else’s alarm. Staff was friendly, especially Brandon.
